____________________________________________________________________________________ PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE UPDATE: LAST DAY OF IN-CLASS AND ONLINE LEARNING IS FRIDAY, JUNE 19TH. Dear Parents, This Spring has not been anything we could have predicted and has called on all of us to be resilient and engage in much new learning. We appreciate your support as staff transitioned to on-line learning and then to a hybrid model of on-line and in-class. We recognize this has been challenging for everyone and we are happy to have been in partnership with you to support your child(ren). We do not yet know what September will look like but the one thing we do know is that we will continue to care deeply for our families and will do everything we can to make the transition to fall a smooth one for all of you. Best Wishes from the Staff of Ladner Elementary SCHOOL INFO & REMINDERS If you have borrowed technology from the school we will need to collect it from you so it can be properly cleaned and prepped for September. Our last day of online learning is Friday, June 19 (please see the calendar below) so we would appreciate you returning the Chromebooks on that day or on the 22nd or 23rd. If you don’t think you will need it prior to that please feel free to return it sooner. June Report Cards

Final report cards will be posted on Parent Connect on Thursday, June 26th (the last day of school).

Moving? Please let us know!

We really must know if your child(ren) will not be attending Ladner Elementary next year. Also if you have moved but wish to keep your child(ren) at Ladner Elementary you may need to fill out a non-catchment form. Please contact the office if either of the above applies to you.

School Supplies for Next Year

Staples will be our school supply provider again for next year but this time when you order your supplies you will be able to customize your order and omit items

you may already have while adding other items you may want. More information from Staples will be available on our website before the end of the month as well as the school supply lists should you chose to purchase these supplies elsewhere. Check out our website at le.deltasd.bc.ca
