MSRA Ladies, this years Ladies Showcase is really quite exciting. We have a diverse collection of things happening and hope

that you can find at least one thing that brings you into the Ladies Showcase. In the following pages you will find, the schedule

of events, the description of events, the list of vendors and their description, and the floor plan. By the grace of God there won’t

be any changes. But He doesn’t always see things my way, so check this website for anything that has to be changed.

LADIES SHOWCASE 2014 DESCRIPTION OF EVENTS

Each day FRIDAY THROUGH SUNDAY JUNE 20-22, 2014

LADIES SHOWCASE ENTRY WAY: Bailey Nurseries, 1325 Bailey Road, St. Paul, Minnesota 55119 has taken on the task

of making the entrance to the Ladies Showcase beautiful. Bailey Nurseries is a fourth generation family owned nursery. They are

one of the largest wholesale nurseries in the world. Their work in plant breeding has helped to produce over 200 varieties of new

plants. One of their exciting new brands is their Endless Summer® Collection, Hydrangeas. Notice these beautiful plants as you enter this years Ladies Showcase building.

MIDWEST FIRE FIGHTERS HOT HUNKS will be joining us. They will have their calendars for sale. All proceeds from

the calendars will be donated to Children’s Cancer Research. Come on in Ladies and get your picture taken with some eye

candy. Do it in the name of research. You might want to bring your oven mitts though. Good thing the Ladies Showcase building is air-conditioned, we’ll have it turned on high.

FRIDAY, JUNE 20, 2014 – GA# = give away, random, drawing at conclusion of presentation

8:15AM Ladies young to older, who would like a hair and makeup makeover please meet at the front (north facing

door) of the Ladies Showcase Building. For those of you with GPS the address is 1694 Judson Avenue, St

Paul, MN 55108. Hair Expressions Beauty Salon and Spa will conduct interviews and choose the semi finalist candidates for the makeover.

9:00AM Ladies Showcase 2014 Bags given to first 1000 ladies 18+ up. 1 bag per person per day

9:00AM The makeover candidates will be presented on stage and three (3) finalist will be chosen by applause of the

audience. The three winners will be transported off sight to Hair Expressions Beauty Salon and Spa, 3551

Lexington Avenue, Arden Hills, MN, where the will be made into one version of their most beautiful self.

GA1: Two $50.00 gift certificates to Hair Expressions Beauty Salon and Spa, given to two audience members. Makeover recipients will be returned to the stage at 2:30pm

10:00AM Diabetes Association of America will be with us with a mini-seminar. They will present to you life saving,

factual, information about diabetes. Take this hour to find out what you need to know about diabetes and it

effects on the body. Bring your loved ones because you care. This is life changing important.

GA2: Five $10.00 Ladies Showcase Gift Certificates.

11:15AM Dance and Entertainment, Ladies Performance dance team will lighten up the stage with a wonderful salsa

routine. What fun.

11:30AM Alec Charais from Bailey Nurseries shares the latest and greatest in the exciting world of hydrangeas.

Topics will include information on planting and care tips, ideas and inspiration for their use, and ways to

enjoy them throughout the year. The newest variety in their Endless Summer® Collection, BloomStruck™, a

blooming machine sure to bring loads of color to the Northern landscape will also be on display.

GA3: Ladies Showcase, collectible, I card holder to 150 listeners.

1:00PM Nancy Burgeson owns and operates Top Tier. She is a frequent guest on Twin Cities Live. Nancy has

been with us before and is very popular. She is truly a cake baking, cookie making goddess. Her

demonstrations are always fun and she shares her expertise, her recipes and her samples. Today she mixes

things up with ALL THE PRESIDENTS COOKIES! Nancy will take you on a journey back in time to

early day presidents and their wives. She will present a bit of history on some of them and also their favorite

cookie recipes, some of which have been lost in time. She will demo some fun recipes and those in

attendance will have a chance to try some of these cookies. Copies of recipes for all who attend.

GA4: Two $10.00 gift certificates to be used at the Top Tier booth, Two $10.00 gift certificates to be used

at the Buckley’s Natural’s booth #16, Two $10.00 gift certificates to be used at the Cutco booth #66

Three $10.00 gift certificates good at any vendor in the Ladies Showcase.

2:30PM Hair Expressions Beauty Salon and Spa returns to the stage to place the finishing touches on our makeover

candidates. Join us for wonderful makeup hints and tips as they complete their vision of each candidates best

features.

GA5: Two $50.00 gift certificates to the Hair Expressions Salon and Spa will be given away to someone in the audience.

3:30PM Game time. Come to the stage and play that childhood favorite Drop the Clothespin in the Bottle for a

chance to win one of fifty $10.00 Ladies Showcase gift certificates.

GA6: Really you ask? Yes, come on in and let go. Let that inner child have a moment of fun. Laugh with

us as we see how well you do. Every one will have an equal chance. You don’t even have to get a clothespin in the bottle to win.

SATURDAY, JUNE 21, 2014 GA# = give away, random, drawing at conclusion of presentation

10:00AM Mike Kinnan MD (also known as the fashion show MC) will be discussing Drug Interactions. Find out

why Tylenol can be so very dangerous to your liver and where it is included in other drugs. Doctor Mike is a

toxicologist who works with the Poison Control Center. He also works in the Emergency department at the

hospital in Cambridge, MN. This too, could be a life saving 45 minutes that you don’t want to miss. He will

have a question and answer session, so bring your meds and try and stump the doc. GA7: Ladies Showcase, collectible, cosmetic bags to 150 listeners.

11:15AM Dance and Entertainment, Ladies Performance dance team will lighten up the stage with a Tom Jones Go Go dance routine. Gotta see it.

11:30AM Chico’s Fashion Show. Chico’s is a specialty retailer of private branded, sophisticated, casual-to-dressy

clothing, intimates, complementary accessories, and other non-clothing gift items. Chico’s on Grand

Avenue in St Paul is the store working to give us this fun time to catch up on what is trendy this summer.

They were with us last year and we are excited to see this years line of clothing. GA:8 two $25.00 Chico’s gift certificates.

1:00PM Nancy Burgeson from Top Tier demonstrating MOVE OVER CUPCAKE THE BUNDT CAKE IS HERE

TO STAY. Oh, That wonderful bundt cake-Nancy will show you simple tricks and great recipes for new

ideas with bundt cakes that will have you scrambling to find your old bundt pan and baking delicious cakes. Copies of recipes for all who attend.

2:30PM Debbie Schmitz brings us HOW TO MAKE YOUR HOUSE MORE SELLABLE. Debbie is a realtor with

Edina Realty and was one of a few who were still selling houses during the housing crunch. Even if you

aren’t selling your house today, there is information here that you may want to file away just in case. She

will share some things that she has found to be winners in the housing market. GA:10 Ladies Showcase, collectible, lighted mirror to 150 listeners.
