• However the characters are shown to have different dreams there is a man – who wants a future and a woman who doesn’t

• There is a boy who has a first crush

• There is an old couple and an other the top teenage couple.

• All of the couple somehow have a connection within this area.

Plot• Watching the individual love

stories within new York over the valentines period.

• With presents being sent all over and love been shown

• We are introduced to the happiest and saddest parts which can be shown within finding the one.

• There is cheating and secrets and then love coming together over all this film projects a idea which can identified by all ages and has a sense of realism to it’s none perfect ways.

Props• We are shown many props in

which are stereotypical to a rom com such as the gifts within valentines such as flowers and chocolate cards. This backs up the idea of love and affection which is shown in many films by the gifts.

• We are also shown the idea of love through the colours of the flowers costume and cars using a lot of red, white and pink. This suggesting passion and love.

Sound• When looking at the sound in this trailer the backing songs are both

up beat which shows the happiness surrounded by love valentines day.

• There is also a voice over in which the narrative is shown.• The first backing song is a song which not only links with the love

but also Valentines Day – ‘Everybody’s gotta love today, gotta love today’

• Then is the Dialogue between the characters in which we are shown a link between shot and voice over and then dialogue to explain.

• There is also dialogue to show the romance and what people believe about love. It also shows comedy through both the dialogue and the shot giving the idea of a romantic comedy

however, what is of main importance is the first shot of the city showing that it’s all set within New York. Then comes the other settings which show how Valentines Day is spent and thought of. There is a flower shop in which certain characters meet and the story joins we are also shown how flowers are of importance to this big day.

• Then is the use of the general everyday location in which we find love.

Costume• As for costume the women are

shown to be post feminist in which they can find love as well as hold down a professional job meaning work and play so smart dress in the day and dress and heels in the night where as there men are shown less masculine with the uses of pink to for clothing and props such as cars. Not only this we are shown this idea via jobs. However in is clear the age range when the younger the woman the skimpier the clothing and the older the more professional.
