Meeting on the ECB annual report
Mandate of the Executive Commission of Lisbon
A new President for new perspective for SCECBU
Economic and Monetary Affairs committee of the European Parliament should not only pay attention to the functioning of the European Central Bank as such, but also to the proper functioning of the ESCB.
Hearings experts from NCB’s, as well as trade union representatives should be invited in the framework of the dialogue between the EP and the ECB
SCECBU insisted on the burning actuality within certain Central Banks due to the restructurings that are being settled up and on the reduction of « non-monetary » activities in these institutions
Mrs Randzio Plaath is of the opinion that her Commission’s competencies are very weak vis-à-vis our demands regarding this subject and recalled that nothing has changed in what concerns the functioning of the ECB vis-à-vis the reforms committed by the Convention
President of the Sub-Commission of Econimic and Monetary Affairs 2004-2009
An hearing with the Executive Bureau members could be possible during the six first months of 2006
The new President is very open to the discussion.
E.P. Member, member of the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs and author of the draft report on the 2002 Annual Report of the ECB
