Establish what stereotypes exist within the genre in terms of Gender roles and audience expectations. Re-cap Character role theories YOU WILL be familiar with (Propps character roles) and introduce some new Character role theory (Monstrous Characters Neale & Krutnik) Analyse a series of Case Study example from the Action-Adventure genre. Review the learning. A02 Assess candidates ability to analyse and respond to a short, unseen moving image extract using media key concepts and appropriate terminology.
