Since 2017 I have worked at Holyrood as a parliamentary researcher and communications ocer for Alex Cole-Hamilton MSP and Willie Rennie MSP. Rebecca Dear fellow member, I am seeking your support as a candidate for the Lothian regional list. Having stood as a candidate during the general elections in 2017 and 2019, I will be utilising the campaigning experience gained from this for the Scottish Parliament election, as the candidate for Edinburgh North and Leith and, I hope, as your list candidate. I plan to use my media experience from my seven year career as a broadcast journalist during campaigning to maximise the coverage the party will get. As part of this I will use my platform as the party spokesperson for the Environment to publicise our green policies and proposals for a green recovery from the pandemic. Edinburgh and the Lothians deserve better than more SNP MSPs who blend into the background and follow the party line. I hope you will back me by voting for me to be part of the team campaigning to return a bigger Liberal Democrat team back to Holyrood next year. Rebecca Bell for Lothian
