Community Events Chronicle September 2013 Volunteer of the Month We would like to recognize a young man with incredible dedication to our Kings Way family. When most teens his age were out enjoying summer weather and time off school, Noah Donovan has been volunteering to serve meals, porter residents to and from meals and activities, help with care and participate with the community events programming. Noah has been coming in regularly with his mom, Paula, and has volunteered her entire shift!! We are extremely proud to announce that Noah has accumulated over 115 hours of volunteer work since July 1, 2013. Noah lives in the Quispamsis area with his parents and younger brother, Kobe. He will be attending KVHS in the fall, going into Grade 9. He still is not to sure what his future holds, but it’s a toss up between caregiving and a chef. Great job, Noah and God bless you!! Thank you so much for your dedication - our residents and staff appreciate all you do! Noah Donovan

Volunteer of the Month

We would like to recognize a young man with incredible dedication to our Kings Way family. When most teens his age were out enjoying summer weather and time off school, Noah Donovan has been volunteering to serve meals, porter residents to and from meals and activities, help with care and participate with the community events programming.

Fundraisers

Please note that our Penny Drive continues. As you are cleaning out your car, pockets, purses, drawers, etc, please keep us in mind as the penny is going out of

circulation. To-date, we have raised $197.50 for the foundation.

Special thanks to the staff from the Rothesay Neighborhood for putting together a fantastic Gift Basket. So far, $142.00 has been raised and the original winner was Judy Lane. Judy graciously gave the basket back and tickets are available at the Reception Desk until Monday, September 16th. Tickets

are: $1.00 each - 3 for $2.00 - 10 for $5.00.

Grandparents’ Day Tea

A tea will be held on Sunday, September 8th at 3:00PM in both the lower and upper levels celebrating “Grandparents”. All family, friends and staff are

welcome to join us in celebrating our grandparents on their special day!!
