Yogi Bhajan PhD, Master of Kundalini Yoga, arrived in the United States in 1969 with a stated mission: "I have come to create Teachers, not to gather disci-ples". Since then he travelled internationally teaching Kundalini Yoga, the Yoga of Awareness.

In 1969 Yogi Bhajan founded 3HO — the Happy, Healthy, Holy organisation, based on his first principle "Happiness is your birthright."

Through 3HO and the Kundalini Research Institute (KRI), Yogi Bhajan trained thousands of Kundalini Yoga Teachers. In 1994, 3HO founded the International Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association, (IKYTA), to further spread these priceless teachings through the united efforts of Kundalini Yoga teachers world-wide.

COURSE GOALS:

CONDITIONS FOR COMPLETION OF THE COURSE:

Students must fulfill the following criteria to complete the course and receive certifi-cation:

Fee: Full payment of all fees. Attendance: Students must attend all the weekends of the course. Exceptional or spe-cial circumstances may result in a student completing the course by attendance at future KY teacher training programs* Note: maximum length to complete all the assignments and attendance of training is 1 year from the starting date of the last training module on 08.11.2018.

White Tantric Yoga: In addition to the hours described below the student is required to attend (or have previously attended) at least one day of White Tantra Yoga.

Hours: The course will be at least 200hrs (equal to 345 academic hours), and additional time for exam, written course work and one day White Tantra Yoga) • 180hrs (equal to 275 academic hours) classroom instruction • 20hrs at least in a 40 days meditation (31 minutes a day in student’s own time) and a 40 days yoga practice of a Kriya (set of exercises). • 12hrs reading [see essential reading (focus on knowing and understanding the technology and its effects) • Attendance at minimum of 10 sadhana/morning meditations during the week ends. • Included in this time will be the viewing of at least two video classes by Yogi Bhajan.

Essential reading: The Course Manual and two chapters from “The Master’s Touch” by Yogi Bhajan. Recommended reading: Pantajali’s Sutras, other Kundalini Yoga Manuals.

Additional classes: Students are required to demonstrate that they have attended a minimum of 20 Kundalini Yoga classes either during or after the training. These class-es must be taught by certified Kundalini Yoga teacher.

Teaching practices: Students are required to teach 5 classes, organised outside the training setting with minimum 3 participant. The classes can be once per week, and students should write a report of the teaching experiences.

Evaluation of the Student: The final evaluation of the student for completion of the course will be based on completion of the above criteria as well as the Tutors’ general evaluation of: • The student’s involvement with the course (including leading yoga sessions on the course) • Their general grasp of the material of the course • Commitment to the 3HO Code of Professional Standards for Kundalini Yoga Teachers • Satisfactory completion of exam and course homework Where appropriate the evaluation will include an interview between the student and two Tutors.

Exam and Course work: • Maintain a journal of experience and progress of the daily experience of 40 day practice. This consists on one Meditation of 31 minutes and a Kriya to be selected during the training according to the process of development of the student in training. • Pass a satisfactory grade (+75 points) in the written final exam. • Design two separate course curricula, which are two different programs for two different kinds of groups. More information will be given during the training.

Evaluation of Tutors: The student is required to complete a brief confidential evalu-ation form for each of the KRI Tutors on the course. These will be submitted to the head office of the Kundalini Research Institute (KRI).

On completion: The student will obtain the KRI level I Kundalini Yoga Instructors Certificate for teaching Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan. This course is approved by the Kundalini Research Institute (KRI) and qualifies the teacher for registration as a member of the International Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association (IKYTA), which include Internet listings and other professional benefits.

1. Introduction to the Training

Course guidelines. General definitions of yoga & yogi. General History of Yoga. Types of yoga. Kundalini energy, Kundalini Yoga and its definitions, class structure and purposes. The Age of Aquarius. 2. The Technology of Kriyas and Asanas

Kundalini Yoga: the practical technology for transformation. The aspects and func-tioning of the Kriyas of Kundalini Yoga. The Asanas: correct approach and alterna-tives. Navel awareness. Breath Awareness. Basic postural physiology. The Three Bhandas: Mulabhanda, Udhiana Bhanda, Jalandhara Bhanda. The Three Nadis and the Path of Kundalini. TEACHER TRAINERS:

Lead Trainer Jivan Mukta Singh.Jivan Mukta was born in Chile. He is a Certified Lead Trainer of Kundalini Yoga and a pioneer Kundalini Yogi and Meditative Healer in Finland. He was a co-founder of The Finnish Kundalini Yoga Association in 2006. He is also a dedicated healer and the creator and director of the “Meditative Healing Program” (MHP), an IKYTA accredited course, currently running in Finland, Estonia, Spain and Norway. He is also trained as a Political Scientist, Historian and a PhD (C) in Comparative Reli-gions. He has published several articles on spirituality, yoga and healing; and he travels to serve the spiritual consciousness and healing in more than a dozen of countries. For the last years he has been part of different projects to teach Kundalini Yoga & Spiritual Living for Men. He is married and a father of two children.

Panch Nishan Kaur - Entry Lead Trainer (ATA)Panch Nishan is a KRI Certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher and Teacher Trainer. She has been teaching yoga for over 18 years in a wide range of environments and locations including: Universities, Health Centers, Yoga Centers, European Yoga Festival, Chilean Yoga Festival, Mexico Teachers Conference, Northern California Women’s Camp, Ramadasa Center China and Teacher Training programs in the USA, Canada, Brazil, France, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Czech Republic, Iceland and Germany. Her specialties include yoga for women, pre-natal, burnout prevention and relationships. Panch Nishan studied directly with the Master of Kundalini Yoga, Yogi Bhajan and spent many years working under his guid-ance for Akal Security, Sikh Dharma International and 3HO Foundation where she led the area of International Community Relations. Additionally she serves as a Facilitator of White Tantric Yoga and serves on the KRI Board of Directors. Panch Nishan is from the USA and currently lives in Berlin Germany with her husband and son.

Sat Darshan Kaur

Sat Darshan Kaur is the first Finnish Associate Kundalini Yoga Teacher Trainer made in Finland. With Jivan Mukta she was one of the founders of the Finnish Kundalini Yoga Association. She is also a Shakti Dance Lead Trainer & Teacher. She travels in Europe teaching this method of Yoga Dance. She is also a Naad Yoga teacher, the Yoga of Sound and Mantra, training at the Raj Academy Conservatoire in London. She is also a Sound Healer from the British Academy of Sound Therapy. Taranbir Kaur - intern ATA (Aquarian Teachers Academy)

Kundalini Yoga opened up fr me 10 years ago and since then I have been a

fascinated student and teacher. I have finished the Level 1 and Level 2 teacher

training programs at Amrit Nam Sarovar with Karta Singh as lead trainer.

Also the Naad Yoga Teacher Training at Raj Academy of Asian Music in London

and Meditative Healing Program Level 1 and Level 2 with Jivan Mukta Singh.

My spiritual name Taranbir Kaur meaning is “a rescue sailboat taking us all to infinity”.

Prabhudeep Kaur – intern ATA (Aquarian Teachers Academy)

Prabhudeep Kaur is a (KRI) certified Kundalini Yoga instructor

and has performed her studies on Level 1 and Level 2 KY Teacher

Trainings during 2010 - 2016.

She is a radiant teacher and organiser since 2012 and

the hostess of Hatu Manor (yoga- and retreat centre in Estonia).

During 2012 - 2014 she was serving the community of Kundalini Yoga teacher’s Association

in Estonia as the chairman of the board.

She is trained as a pregnancy yoga instructor, children yoga instructor, Karam Kriya numerology

practitioner and Meditative Healing practitioner, currently teaching workshops and regular yoga

classes to grownups, youth and children.

Prabhudeep Kaur is married to Prabhudeep Singh and they have a son. In their cooperation Valgus-

pere (Family of Light) was born to share the teachings of Yogi Bhajan and to organize Kundalini

yoga trainings and workshops in Hatu Yoga Manor in Estonia.
