Kumbh Program: 05 Nights/ 06 Days
Day 01: Arrival Delhi – Indore – Ujjain Arrival in Delhi and board the connecting flight for Indore. On arrival direct leave for Ujjain (approx 60 km). Reach Ujjain and transfer to Kumb Mela camp. Evening explore the Kumbh Mela site. Dinner and overnight stay at camp/tent. Flight: Delhi – Indore
Day 02: Ujjain Today attend the auspicious bath at the Ghat of holy river Shipra. Rest of the day exploring in and around the Kumbh Mela site and observe the holy saints. Dinner and overnight stay at camp/tent.
Day 03: Ujjain After breakfast visit Mahakeleshwar Jyotirlinga temple (one of the twelve Jyotirlingas in India). Rest of the day exploring in and around the Kumbh Mela site. Dinner and overnight stay at camp/tent.
Day 04: Ujjain – Omkareshwar (approx 150 km) After breakfast leave for Omkareshwar. Reach Omkareshwar & transfer to hotel. Evening do the parikrama (circumambulation) of Omkareshwar island through boat ride on sacred river Narmada. The island is shaped like an Om symbol. Dinner overnight stay at hotel.
Day 05: Omkareshwar – Indore - Delhi After breakfast visit Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga temple (one of the twelve Jyotirlingas in India) & the Gayatri temple. After that transfer to Indore airport (approx 85 km) to board the flight for Delhi. Reach Delhi & transfer to hotel. Evening visit Malai Mandir if time permits. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel. Flight: Indore – Delhi
Day 06: Delhi – Departure Morning transfer to the international airport to board flight for onward journey.

Ujjain Kumbh Mela – 2016
The largest single gathering of humanity on earth, Kumbh Mela is a mass Hindu pilgrimage in
India. In 2016 from 22nd April the Purna Kumbh Mela will be held in Ujjain at sacred river
Shipra, which occurs after every 12th years when the Sun is in the zodiac Aries and the Jupiter is
in the zodiac Leo.
Millions of devotees take dips, worship and attend the religious ceremony of Kumbh Mela to
attain libration from the vicious cycle of birth-death-rebirth as it is believed that those who get a
royal bath in holy Shipra River on the occasion of Kumbh Mela can wash their sins of all
previous births. The devotees consider it as an opportunity to get them revived from the never
ending birth cycle.
