Auto idling system

Save fuel with Kubota’s Auto Idle. Reduce engine RPMinstinctively when high engine speed isn’t needed. When thecontrol levers are in neutral for more than 4 seconds,the engine RPM automatically idles. Move anycontrol lever and the engine RPM immediatelyreturns. This innovative feature reducesnoise and exhaust emissions whilereducing operating costs.

Adjustable maximum oil flow controlfor auxiliary port

This unique function lets you control the oil flow according toyour needs or the attachment in use. It eliminates the hassle ofusing tools to change settings manually, so you don’t have toleave the cabin. When using a tilt bucket, you can slow theflow to get just the rightcontrol. Alternatively, for abrush cutter, direct the oil flowto one side of the excavatorarm. This contributes to less oilcontamination, reduced back pressure,and greater oil flow efficiency.

WORKING RANGE

SafetySafety is designed into every detail of the KX91-3S2. AnEngine Start Lockout System prevents the engine fromstarting when the safety levers are lowered. A Safety LeverLockout System helps prevent unexpected excavator andattachment movement when entering or exiting themachine. An Auto House Parking Brake automaticallylocks the house in the position it was in when the enginewas shut off, eliminating the need for a swing lock pin. Italso makes the excavator more compact during transportand more secure when parked on an incline.

Travel negative brakeThe travel negative brake locks the tracks to preventunwanted movement. This keeps the excavator secure whiletransporting it on the back of lorries or parking it on slopes.

AccumulatorThe accumulator makes replacing attachments safer andmore efficient. Turning the key to the “on” position clearsresidual pressure in theauxiliary hydraulic hose. Ifthe engine is accidentallyshut off while the frontattachment is raised,turning the key to the “on”position allows you tosafely lower it.
