DesignThe fully automatic pressure booster system pumps the fluid tothe consumer installations in the set pressure range with anon-self-priming vertical high-pressure pump (3).
FunctionThe pressure booster system is started and stoppedautomatically as a function of pressure. The pump is started upas a function of pressure when consumer installations areopened. Lack of water will cause the frequency inverter to stopthe pump automatically.
In manual mode, a minimum flow is essential to prevent thefluid handled and/or the pump from overheating when nowater is consumed at the consumer installations.

Solution:1. Subtract the inlet pressure of 1 bar (approx. 10 m) from
the head.
ð This results in a required head of 40 m.
2. Transfer the values to the characteristic curves diagramto select the corresponding pump.
ð This results in the selection of a KSB Delta Solo SVP 10/06.
