Access Workforce Dimensions - Desktop• Start by logging on to Workforce Dimensions.

• Access through SSo Login− Tip: bookmark the USNH login
page address for future use.
• Taking you directly to your home page:− A user interface that allows
you to access, view, and modify time and labor data using tiles.
− It is configured to reflect your responsibilities and tasks.
− You can adjust your Home to reflect the tasks you use most often.
Access Workforce Dimensions - Mobile• You can also download the
"WF Dimensions" application for use on your mobile device and tablet.− Full functionality, in a mobile-
enhanced view.− Download from the Apple app store
or your favorite Android app store (such as Google Play.)

Punching In and Out
• Records time through the Punch tile and adds it to your Timecard
• Accurate and timely documentation of your worked hours
• There may be restrictions on the locations where you can punch− You may only be able to punch
when you are at your work location
• Employees with multiple jobs will be required to use the Transfer function to select the correct job.

Punching In and Out (cont.)• Keep track of your worked hours
by punching in and out according to your schedule.
• Multiple punches are interpreted as alternating in and out punches:− First punch of the day is assumed to
be an in punch− Second is assumed to be an
out punch
• If your punches do not align with your schedule, you will be prompted on your next attempt that you have a missing punch.− You can select to fix it immediately or
access your timecard to make the correction later.
Viewing My Schedule• From My Schedule tile, you can:
− View your schedule for the next seven days− Access My Calendar to view additional dates.

Requesting Time Off• From My Calendar, you can:
− View your schedule− View the status
of your request− Cancel a request− Make a new request

Job Aid: Hourly (Non-exempt) Request Time Off
New Request for Time Off
From My Calendar1. Select a start date.2. Select New Request.
From the panel:1. Select a Type of Time Off.2. Select Apply.3. Select additional dates.4. Enter a start time.5. Enter a duration (hh:mm)6. Select Review to add a comment.7. Select Submit.
All time off requests must be made prior to the close of the pay period in which they will be taken.
Viewing My TimecardFrom the Main Menu:
1. Select My Information
2. Select My Timecard

Or use your Timecard tile which contains:
• The total number of exceptions in your timecard
• The name and day that someone other than yourself edited your timecard
• A link to My Timecard
Entering punches• You will correct errors and provide details on
exceptions in the timecard.− Missed punches are especially called out
by a solid red block in the missing field.
• If your punches do not align with your schedule, a visual indicator of the issue will appear within the cell which contains the issue.
• When entering in or out punches, you can abbreviate times. For example, 7:00pm = 7p.
• Once you have saved your punch, you will be notified that your manager/time approver will have to approve it before it appears on your timecard.
• You can view your unapproved edits by selecting View Pending.

Adding Comments
• Add comments to explain exceptions within your timecard
• Choose from list of available comments
• You can add more than one comment
• To view comment details, hover over the icon
• You can only add a comment to a punch exception, a punch or pay code− You may be able to type additional notes
to accompany the comment(s)
Approving timecards• You are required to approve your timecard after the close of the bi-weekly pay period
• Use the Time Period drop-down list to navigate between time periods
• If your manager approves your timecard, you will not be able to make additional edits
