The Krix Stratospherix in-ceiling speaker is a weather-proof (IP54 rated), offers highpower handing and high sensitivity with extended bass performance. These attributes make the Stratospherix ideal for outdoor in-ceiling applications under eaves, as well as larger concealed home cinema applications.

The Krix Stratospherix employs a large 8” bass driver with a concentric professional grade compression tweeter. The dual concentric driver configuration ensures uniform sound coverage in all directions. The grille is corrosion resistant Aluminium and all other hardware is stainless steel ensuring reliable performance both indoors or outdoors.
Applications: Alfresco dining areas, courtyards, swimming pool areas or larger concealed home cinemas.

Sensitivity: 93dB for 2.83V RMS at 1m when mounted in situ.
Configuration: 8" dual concentric two way.
Bass Driver: Cast aluminium basket, 200mm (8") curvilinear polypropolene driver,38mm (1.5") voice coil wound on high temperature kapton former.
Tweeter: 1.75" (45mm) high sensitivity mylar dome compression driver firing through the bass driver pole piece.
Crossover Point: 2.5kHz.
Impedance: 6 ohm nominal (minimum 5.3 Ohm).
Enclosure Type: Infinite baffle, with acoustically transparent protective rear enclosure.

Material: Moulded ABS plastic with corrosion resistant stainless steel fittings and aluminum grille.
