NEW YORK, NY – Named one of Billboard’s top three dance artists of the decade, Kristine W’s latest release pays homage to her musical hero, Donna Summer. “On the Radio”, the third single from Kristine’s Straight Up with a Twist album (distributed through Fly Again Music) presents the first jazz recording of Summer’s classic disco track. The dreamy and intimate, lounge-ready arrangement, cut live in the studio with Kristine and her band, has already been added to fifteen smooth jazz stations across America including KTSU in Houston, KIHT in St Louis, KORL in Honolulu, and WTCC in Massachusetts. “I have been a huge fan of Donna Summer since I was little girl,” says Kristine W. “I remember the first time I heard ‘On The Radio’, thinking this song is gonna be a hit because it was about how anything is possible. Kristine W’s “On the Radio” has a funky Latin feel to it. The disco beats and musical accompaniment are stripped, allowing the spiritually moving lyrics to take center stage. Kristine’s passionate vocals take the song to a new romantic depth.

Kristine W is a fourth generation entertainer hailing from Pasco, Washington. After winning the title of Miss Washington and placing first in the talent competition at the Miss America pageant, Kristine went on to pursue her educational and musical dreams in Las Vegas, where she found success headlining her own show at the Las Vegas Hilton, winning several 'Las Vegas Entertainer of the Year' awards and being officially sanctioned as the entertainer who performed more live shows at the Las Vegas Hilton than any other performer in its history - including Elvis.
