The KP is designed to last. A few of the innova-tions which contributes to its solid performanceinclude:

> A compensated double volute balances radialloads reducing shaft deflection, which pro-vides quiet operation and minimizes vibration,resulting in reduced maintenance cost.

Additionally, the double volute reduces tur-bulence and recirculation lost and improvesefficiencies throughout the range, reducingoperating cost.

The KP has a proven track record and is tested inaccordance with current Hydraulic Institute stan-dards, so you can count on its reliability before you

purchase and put the pump to work.

A VERTICAL OPTION FORSPACE SAVINGSThe KPV offers the same great design as the KP,but it is vertically mounted for a space-saving con-figuration.

The KPV features an accurately machined rabbetfit and locating pins, which permanently align thevertically mounted motor and pump, thus removingthe need for alignment. The lower bearing on KPVmechanical seal type is designed with a protectivemoisture seal and water slinger to reduce the pos-sibility of bearing damage caused by leakage fromthe pump.

The KPV with product lubed journal bearing in thebottom is very compact in the design. It eliminatesthe need for a lower mechanical seal and replaces aradial ball bearing with a journal bearing.
