Mr. Kristol was struck in the head and lost control of his vehicle which then collided with Laroyice McFarland, a pe- destrian who was nearby. The suspect(s) then fled the scene, striking and injuring a bicyclist dur- ing their escape. Both Mr. Kristol and Mr. McFar- land succumbed to their injuries. Detectives are continuing to investigate this crime, and believe that a reward may compel members of the public to provide Information on the Identity of the person or persons responsible for these crimes. The person or persons responsible for this crime represent an ongoing threat to the safety of the people of Los Angeles. Unless withdrawn or paid by City Council action, this offer of reward shall terminate on, and have no effect af- ter, MARCH 8,2019. The provisions of pay- ment and all other con- siderations shall be erned by Chapter Division 19 of the Code, as amended by Ordinance Nos. 15815/ and 166666. Detectives are continuing to investigate this crime, and believe that a reward may compel members of the public to provide Information on the identity of the person or persons responsible for these crimes. The person or persons responsible for this crime represent an ongoing threat to the safety of the people of Los Angeles.
