REWARD NOTICEThe City of Los Angeles offers a reward payable at the discretion of the City Council to one or more persons in the sum or sums up to an aggregate maximum total sum of $75,000 for information leading to the identifica­tion and apprehension of the person or persons re­sponsible for trie DEATHS OF HARRISON KRISTOL AND LAfiOYICE MCFAR­LAND, in the City of Los Angeles. On Monday, Au­gust 6, 2018, at approxi­mately 8:30 p.m.r 20-year old Harrison Kristol was driving with a friend east on Rodeo Road near La Brea Avenue when an un­known In anot up alongside Mr. Kristol's vehicle and opened fire on him. Mr. Kristol was struck in the head and lost control of his vehicle which then collided with Laroyice McFarland, a pe­destrian who was nearby. The suspect(s) then fled the scene, striking and injuring a bicyclist dur­ing their escape. Both Mr. Kristol and Mr. McFar­land succumbed to their injuries. Detectives are continuing to investigate this crime, and believe that a reward may compel members of the public to provide Information on the Identity of the person o r pers on s responsible for these crimes. The person or persons responsible for this crime represent an ongoing threat to the safety of the people of Los Angeles. Unless withdrawn or paid by City Council action, this offer of reward shall terminate on, and have no effect af­ter, MARCH 8,2019.The provisions of pay­ment and all other con­siderations shall be erned by Chapter Division 19 of the Code, as amended by Ordinance Nos. 15815/ and 166666. This offer shall be given upo condition that all < ants provide continued cooperation, within the criminal justice system relative to this case and is not available to public of­ficers or employees of the City, their families, per­sons in law enforcement or persons whose mis­conduct prompted this reward. The suspect(s) then fled the scene, striking and injuring a bicyclist during escape. Both Mr. Kristol and Mr. McF succumbed to their injuries. Detectives are continuing to investigate this crime, and believe that a reward may compel members of the public to provide Information on the identity of the person or persons responsible for these crimes.
