Dear youth panel member, Last year you were selected and participated in the Korea Youth Panel Survey as a panel member representing the
youth in the 4th year of elementary school in Korea. Your parents also participated in a telephone survey. We appreciate your continuing participation as a Korea Youth Panel. This survey requires the same respondents to take part in the survey annually. How to Answer the Questionnaire
The questionnaire contains questions about you, youth panel member. There are questions that you
must answer with accurate information while other questions need you to express your opinions.
Please read all the questions carefully and answer them accurately and honestly. If there are
questions that you cannot understand or you want to clarify, please ask the survey interviewer.

We are conducting a Korea Youth Panel Survey (KYPS) for the Korea Institute for Youth Development, a government-funded research institute under the direction of the Office of the Prime Minister. child for participating in this survey last year. The reason I calling you today is that I would like
to ask you a few questions your child may not answer properly. All the information you provide will be kept
confidential under the 13th Article of the Statistics Law. We will appreciate your cooperation
