The yearly increment will be 05% on CTC.
The period of contract will be initially for a period of 2 years, extendable up to 5 years,
on satisfactory performance and mutual consent. In such event, increment of 05% perannum will be payable. Candidates will be eligible for Service Gratuity on completion ofminimum period of 5 years service.Age:-Those born on or after 01/01/1975 are eligible to apply. Age relaxation can be considered
in deserving cases.

General Information (Applicable to all applicants):-
1. Candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria will be screened.
2. Candidates are advised to check their eligibility before Applying for.
3. The candidates must bring with them original certificates, at the time ofpersonal Interview, along with 1 set of attested photocopy in proof of age, caste,educational qualification and experience, failing which candidate will not be madeeligible for interview.
4. Candidate should bring 2 character certificates from different officers i.e.Gazetted Officers/Executives Officers for certifying that he/she is bearing goodmoral character.
1. Incomplete or vague educational qualification will be invalid.
2. Even after contractual agreement, if any document/ certificate/ information, arefound incorrect or false in any scrutiny or verification, then the contractual service willbe immediately terminated forthwith without assigning any reason and prior notice,besides legal action which may also be initiated.
3. The Corporation reserves the right to cancel/ restrict/ curtail/ enlarge the contractengagement process, if need so arises, without any prior notice and without assigningany reasons therefore.
4.
Selected candidates will be required to execute a bond of Rs. 50,000/- infavour of Konkan Railway Corporation Limited on Rs.100/-stamp paper to servethe Company for the period specified in the subsequent para below or any furtherextended period.
5. The outstation candidates should come at their own expenses, no TA/DA will be
paid.
10.Candidate will be subjected to prescribed medical examination before finalselection.
11.All other things being equal the eligible landlosers of KRCL project will be givenpreference.

Selection process:-
1. The candidates shall apply on or before the date and time at the address indicatedabove. The application received late will not be considered.
2. The selection will be finalised on merit, based on the performance in the
screening, qualification and experience gained by the Candidate.
3. The decision of the Nominating Committee will be final and binding.
The other broad terms of contract are given below for information ofthe candidatewhich are subject to changes at the time of actually entering into the contract, at thediscretion of KRCL, which may please be noted:-
4. Initially, the contract period will be for a period of 2 years, and extendable up to 5years, on satisfactory performance and with mutual agreement.
5. The contractual services are required for KRCL at Corporate office Belapur.Candidates engaged against the Sr.no. 1, 2 and 4 may require to visit our project sitesat J&K. These are not regular establishment posts and are only for the time boundrequirements. The contractual appointment will be for a maximum period of 5 years.
1. The Corporation reserves the right to terminate the contract if the contractappointee is found unsuitable, by giving 3 months notice or payment in lieuthereof. Similarly, the appointee will be required to give 3 months notice to KRCLfor termination of contract.
2. The candidate selected for the above contractual agreement shall not beabsorbed in KRCL regular service. The candidate therefore, shall not have rightto claim for permanent absorption in KRCL, and shall be required to give anundertaking in writing to KRCL to that effect.
3. The selected candidate shall be paid the consolidated remuneration as
mentioned hereinabove and shall not be eligible or entitled to any other benefit orallowance, except the applicable service gratuity on completion of 5 years periodof contract employment.
4. In the event the appointee is found involved in undesirable activities such asembezzlement, unlawful activities (including passing on confidential informationof KRCL), unauthorised absence, in-subordination or breach of any of the termsof contract without prejudice to the right to initiate civil/criminal proceedings, thecontract appointment shall be terminated.
The termination of contract and its consequences:-
(a) In addition to the above conditions, the contract agreement shall be terminated on:-

i . Completion of last day of contract period or any extended period thereon.
ii . The breach of any terms of contract of employment by contract employee.
iii. The last day of the 3 months notice period of termination issued by either side orpayment in lieu thereof by either party.
a. If any litigation on whatsoever account is initiated by or against KRCL, the cause ofwhich lies in contract period, the presence of contract appointee will be required,even after termination or expiry of the contract agreement.
(c)Upon any premature termination or expiration of contract for any reason, the contractappointee shall return to KRCL any property belonging to KRCL, all tools and plans,documents, any passwords or user ids etc. under his control. This will include allconfidential information regarding work, hard and soft copies of documents and
information of whatever description of whatever form, tangible or intangible in hispossession, together with copies, notes or summaries of such documents and hisown working papers which are derived or based upon such documents.
a. They will have to clear all their advance(s) or due(s), if any cash or vouchers or ifany financial outstanding liabilities etc.
(e)Contract appointee will be responsible for the acts and omission(s) in the course of
contractual service during the period and thereafter.
Travel on duty and expenses:-
a) Pass for Sleeper Class for Section Engineers and Technical Assistants, 3tierAC for Assistant Project Engineers may be issued for train travel whiletravelling on official duty of KRCL.
a. Expenses and cost:- The fixed rate of 100% expenses and costs as per
classification of city will be Rs.340/- per day outside the headquarter for theposts mentioned above, during the course of contract period and will be
payable as detailed below:-
For 12 hours and above:- 100%
For 6 hours to 12 hrs :- 70%
Less than 6 hours:- 30%
a. Rest House :- Rest House of KRCL, if available, will be provided while onduty, or re-imbursement of hotel charges as per rates fixed by KRCL will beallowed, on production of vouchers.
Leave:-

Contract appointee will be entitled for fully earned leave of 15 days on completion of every6 months of contract period. This leave can be accumulated; however, no encashment ispermitted. In addition, the appointee will be eligible for 8 days Casual Leave in a calendaryear. Weekly off and other public holidays, as applicable to concerned offices, at the placeof posting, will be applicable. Normal working hours will be the same as per the Corporate/regional office. However, the appointee will be required to work in shift duty as and whenrequired.The Contract Appointee shall be governed by Indian Laws and shall be subject to thejudicial courts in Maharashtra state.Statutory Income Tax, Professional Tax and other taxes will be deducted at source, as
applicable from time to time.Training:-
Suitable introductory training, if required may be arranged at a location to be decided by
KRCL.The above terms are broad in nature and only for guidance and are subject to change
while entering into agreement at the time of contract appointment.
