COMPANY PROFILE

The Company Formed in 1985, but its ‘roots go back to 1946 when ‘Econa’ began fabricating soil pipes in galvanised mild steel. Scope of Company The complete design, fabricating and supply of drainage systems, comprising rainwater pipes, soil and waste and service pipework.

Materials Light, medium and heavyweight mild steel, galvanised after manufacture to BS1461:1999. System Design Conforms to BS EN 12056:2000 Code of Practice for Sanitary Pipework, and BS3868:1995, specification for prefabricated drainage stack units: galvanised steel.

Bracketry

Generally one number per multi-branch unit, but incorporated as designated in BS EN 12056:2000.

SPECIAL APPLICATIONS


Cast in Slab Pipework Mild steel pipework will be medium grade to BS1387 and grit blasted to BS7079 after welding fabrication. Completed units, after descaling and washing to be dipped in molten zinc which coats all surfaces, inside and outside to BS1461:1999 with completed components.

Suspended Pipework Can be fabricated to permit fixing tight to soffits and reduce use of ceiling space.
