The brand’s global deliveries rose 6.6% last year to 1,200,500 vehicles (2016: 1,126,500). ŠKODA has delivered for four consecutive years more than 1,000,000 cars.

20 MILLION CARS PRODUCEDThis year, ŠKODA KAROQ was the 20 millionth car that rolled

off the production line. 15 million cars have been manufactured since

joining Volkswagen Group in 1991. The very first car was produced in

Mladá Boleslav in 1905.

10 MILLION GEARBOXES MANUFACTURED

ŠKODA AUTO has produced 10 million gearboxes. Manual and

automatic dual clutch transmissions (DSG) are used in ŠKODA models

as well as other brands in the Volkswagen Group. The plant in Vrchlabí

is one of he most important DSG plants in the Volkswagen Group.

ŠKODA MILLIONAIRESIn 2017, three ŠKODA models celebrated remarkable jubilees.

ŠKODA produced the 500,000th third-generation FABIA and the four

millionth ŠKODA FABIA since the series debuted in 1999.

Current ŠKODA OCTAVIA reached 1.5 million from its debut in 2012.

With total sales surpassing 5 million units, it is one of the most

successful model lines in the automotive world today.

ŠKODA has also produced the one millionth SUPERB. The current third

generation has made a major contribution to this result. The brand’s

flagship brings the success story of the series to a new level.
