The Centres for Excellence in Education (SFU) arrangement is a national pestige arrangement for education in higher education. The arrangement was initiated by the Norwegian Ministry of Education in 2010.

The arrangement is administered by The Norwegian Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (NOKUT).www.nokut.no

The overarching goal of the arrangement is to contribute to developing excellent quality in higher education and making visible that teaching and research are equally valued tasks in universities and university colleges.

An important goal of the SFU arrangement is to stimulate excellent R&D based education.

bioCEED shall strengthen biological education so that tomorrows biologists will be highly qualified and well-prepared for employment.

ProTed’s vision is to educate professional, knowledgeable, secure and internationally oriented teachers for a multicultural society.

CEMPE shall develop knowledge and experience which can contribute to accomplished musician students to achieve artistic excellence. CEMPE shall also qualify them for work in the rapidly changing globalised world of music.
