• KM comprises a range of practices used in an organization to identify, create, represent, distribute and enable adoption of insights and experiences. Such insights and experiences comprise knowledge, either embodied in individuals or embedded in organizational processes or practice

Why knowledge management???
• AIESEC operates in a very unique way. Every year there a complete turnover of the entire management team at every level of the organisation. When you examine the membership over a span of about three years, the retention rate is close to zero - for this reason, AIESEC is unlike any other organisation. Therefore, it is imperative that we create certain habits, behaviours and practices that allow future generations to capitalize on what we learn and experience during our time in the organisation.

Step1: Name the file
• Please make sure you follow the knowledge management protocol in naming the file
before uploading if the file is important

• Important files may include plans, output etc or materials that should be passed to future generations

Make sure you let the right people view your file
All = everyone can viewClosed = only administrator and invited people can view

This is the settings recommended for managing files in the LC. It should be followed in almost all cases. Team members should be allowed to administrate to ensure flexibility in management.All team members should also be careful when using administration functions
When finished press “Add” and “Next”

After uploading, you’ll get the link for the file on myaiesec.net. Copy it!

Open the team’s year book and insert the link into the appropriate category.

Administrate your file
In case you want to update or change something in the document
Files page -> Administer File. A list of files that you can manage should appear. Choose the file that you want to change

When everything is finished, click Upload file
Browse your updated version of the file if necessary
