Fiction activities:

Our main reading text this term is called ‘The Jaguar Stone- Middleworld’ by J & P Voelkel.

This book explores the lives of the Mayans. The main character is a fourteen-year-old Max Murphy is looking forward to a family vacation. But his parents, both archaeologists and Maya experts. During his journey, he will unlock ancient secrets and meet strangers who are connected.

Children will use the reading and research activity to produce their own adventure story.
