Aim – To develop personal safety skills todeal with difficult situations.

Learning Outcomes 1.I can recognise the physical signs of

being in a frightening or dangerous situation.

2.I understand the importance of telling a trusted adult (e.g. a parent) about a problem I have.

3.I am able to use personal safety strategies to get help when I need to

Aim – To develop personal safety skills todeal with difficult situations.

Learning Outcomes 1. I have an understanding of what sexual assault is.2. I understand the difference between appropriate

and inappropriate touches and what personal space is.

3. I am able to use language and body language to communicate how to say “Yes” and how to say “No”.

Aim – To develop personal safety skills to

deal with difficult situations.

Learning Outcomes 1.I understand that no one has the

right to physically assault another person. Everyone has the right to be safe.

2.I am able to keep trying until I get the help that I need.

3.I can identify personal safety strategies which will help me get help when I need it.

Scenario Five

Aim – To develop personal safety skills to deal with difficult situations.

Learning Outcomes 1.I understand some of the risks of

using the Internet and of chat rooms in particular

2.I can recognise times when people try to pressure me into taking risks which may place me in danger.

3.I am able to identify personal safety strategies to help me get out of dangerous situations.
