Project Description:

I will be producing a front cover page and a double page spread for the first ever issue of the magazine I’ve created called ‘Klashed’.

Photographer:

I am going to be taking the photos needed to complete my front cover and double page spread because I feel that the images I take are to the standard required for a high grade in this unit.The photos I need to take are of a medium angle of view because the picture on my front cover will be a medium shot in order for the reader to see the whole character and determine their interest in the issue of a rock music magazine.The second photo I need to take is for my double page spread. This picture will be the returning artist featured in the first phot but instead of being portrait, this image will be landscape. Both images will need to be bright as the face needs to be seen to show the emotion.

Model requirements:

Speaking stereotypically the model will have to tall and medium build as rock artists usually have an overlooking style.

Casting:Jake Lawrenson.

The casted model is suitable for the role because the are tall and medium build with possession of dark clothing which is required to maintain a rock star image.

Wardrobe and Look:

The source of inspiration is the lead singer ‘Gerard way’ from my chemical romance who wears dark clothing and has blackened eyes in his photos and favors to wear black dark coats.

Hair and Make up:

I will need to model the person in black eye paint to give a shadowing look to their eyes in order to support the stereotype of dark appearances in rock stars because of the dark music included in the genre.
