The Paris Agreement aims to keep the global temperature rise below 2°C, pursuing efforts to limit it to 1.5°C (compared to pre-industrial levels).

The Kigali Amendment to the Montreal Protocol is estimated to prevent almost 0.5°C warming by the end of the century.
