Our drawer cabinets come standard

with timber drawers. If you want

metal sided drawers, simply order

a base cabinet and metal sided

drawers instead. Metal sided drawer

codes are listed on page 8.

*Minimum space required is

1000mm (984mm cabinet width

plus 16mm void). Or, if using a

450mm door then allow for a 66mm

void between the wall and cabinet.

^When using j-pull doors, use a blind corner cabinet to continue the

Choosing metal sided drawers changes the process

a little bit, but just follow these easy steps to select the

products you need for your drawers:

• Firstly, purchase a standard base cabinet; not a drawer

base cabinet (as you won’t be needing those timber

drawers) in 450, 600 and/or 900mm widths.

• Then use our handy table below to work out which

drawer configuration you would like, and how many

of each you will need.

• Finish up by purchasing the drawer panel pack that

matches your configuration (also in the table), and

that’s it – just select your handles and you’re ready

to start assembling.

To get started, work out your benchtop

requirements and you’re ready to

start creating your new kitchen.

Check your cabinets are level and square

by placing a spirit level on top of your

base cabinets. If not, cabinets should be

adjusted before proceeding.

Measure the length of your kitchen

remembering to include all filler and end panels.

It is best to start from a wall and measure

outwards. Add 20mm for the overhang or

30mm where safety corners are used.

Measure the depth of your kitchen

from the back of the wall to the front

of the doors/drawers.

Simply choose your colour, draw your benchtop on the cutting service order

custom benchtops

The custom service is designed for those occasions where a standard benchtop won't work

in your kitchen. The custom service applies to all our cut to measure benchtop colours,

as well as our premium laminate colours, with a heap more flexibility. You can create

benchtops that are 3.6m long and 1.3m wide! You can have a single edge or double edge in

any width between 300-1300mm and you can even choose to have double laminate if you

have a waterfall end. All benchtops in our custom service offer have a square edge profile

and depending on the colour, can be either 20mm ultra thin, 28mm or 38mm thick.

Our premium laminate benchtops are state of the art and inspired by natural looking and

authentic feeling products where the aesthetic of wood has been recreated, even the side

edging is available in end-grain which replicates the look of sawn timber. Our soft-touch

super matt benchtop has been made with nano-technology which makes it anti-fingerprint

anti-static, as well as super durable as it is resistant to micro-scratches and abrasions!

your kitchen easy. This range features some of our most popular benchtop colours,

as well as a range of contemporary colours to finish the look of your kitchen!

our laminate splashbacks are perfect for DIY projects as they are:

• Lightweight and impact resistant, making them durable and easy to

handle during installation.

• Easy to install — simply apply silicone and double sided tape to the

back of the splashback, stick the splashback in position and seal

around the edges.

• Available in large sheets of up to 3600mm width (prior to cutting) —

brilliant for having minimal joins in the end result.

• Easy to add cut outs at home (for cutting appliance and power points).

Measuring and cutting on-site will give you accuracy and control, and

can easily be done using a hole saw, jigsaw or circular saw.

The kaboodle calcium silicate board is cement

sheeting that has been designed to provide a

heat resistant barrier to help protect surfaces and

components such as wall studs.

how is the calcium silicate board installed?

To install the calcium silicate board, cut out a cavity in the

plasterboard directly behind the cooktop. The gap between

the calcium silicate board and the surrounding substrate can

be a maximum of 1-2mm on each side. Fix the calcium silicate

board to the studs using appropriate screws.

size of 200mm x 1220mm, meaning that it is easy to handle,

can be fixed to a variety of stud widths and suits a number of

different cooktops.

1. Measure the area you require

the splashback to be installed.

4. Enter the measurements into one of the

pre-set layouts in the order form or simply

draw up your splashback in the personal

design area.

Ensure you allow for a 2mm expansion gap all

the way around the outside of the splashback.

2. If your splashback meets at

a corner, allow for 5mm for

the joining piece as well as

a 2mm expansion gap.

5. Enter the measurements in the pricing table making sure that if you have any

cut outs, to enter the greatest height and width measurements into the table.

3. If you have two joining pieces, you

must allow for a 2mm expansion gap

between these pieces. (When joining

cutting your splashback at home is easy as!

tools you will need

To put your kaboodle kitchen together, these are some of the tools you may need:

Cordless drill with:

• number 2 Phillips head screw tip

• 4mm drill bit

• number 12 counter sinking drill bit safety

if cutting with a hole saw

If using a hole saw, cut with the good side up.

DO NOT USE A SPADE DRILL BIT.

if cutting with a jigsaw

With the good side facing up, use a 12mm drill bit and drill a hole in each of the corners of the required cut out.

Next, with the good side facing down, use a jigsaw to cut between each of the holes.

Use either of the following methods to make a cut out for any power points. Always make sure you

measure the hole required for the cabling as well as the screws of the power point before cutting.
