We are all very proud of your efforts both on the day and during the hard work in preparing for your performances. This was recog- nised by the judges with the Choir awarded runners up in the Battle of The Choirsand Dance group achieving best school in the Parade. Thank you to the staff and families who turned up to support our students on the day. Up until 3rd April for every $10 spent at Coles you will re- ceive a Sports for School voucher. Please bring the vouchers to school and place them in the collection box at the office. Please tell all your friends and family that our school is collect- ing the vouchers. Thank you to families who have already volunteered to assist with watering of our new garden areas. We will be in touch early next week with further details. If you are able to assist on weekends or during the upcoming holidays please call the of- fice on 97444566 to have your name put on our roster. Thank you to all who have been busily gathering sponsors for next weeks Kismet Colour Challenge’. The prize for the class that raises the most money is very close and hotly contested. We have included a schedule for the day below for all who are keen to come along and see all the fun taking place. As part of our Kismet Colour Challenge and obstacle course, we are declaring a (free) casual clothes day for the last day of Term 1. Children are encouraged to come dressed in a white or light coloured t-shirt to get the most out of the Colour Challenge! And a quick reminder to pack a towel in your child's bag on this day if possible. All spon- sorship forms and money is due in no later than Thursday 29th March please. Dear Parents, Staff and Students,

Today we congratulate the members of our Choir and Dance

groups who represented our school at Sunfest on Saturday. We

are all very proud of your efforts both on the day and during the

child abuse, and all allegations and safety concerns will be

treated very seriously and consistently with our robust policies

and procedures. We meet our legal and moral obligations to

contact authorities when we are worried about a child’s

safety, which we follow rigorously.

Our school is committed to regularly training and educating

our staff and volunteers on child abuse risks. As a com-

munity we support and respect all children, as well as our staff

and volunteers.

At Kismet Park Primary School:

· Everyone connected to our school can help children be safe.

· We have zero tolerance for any abuse of children.

· We already have policies and processes in place to protect

the care, safety and welfare of children.

· There are clear boundaries about how adults in our school

community may interact with the children. These are set out

in our school’s Child Safe Code of Conduct which, along

with our Child Safe Policy and other Child Safe related

documents are available on our school website.
