Which is a great challenge, illustrated by the example of Mashable.

Mashable uses its self-developed tool “Velocity“ to aggregate news and to compare them with trends in Social Media. With the help of the data, the homepage is created and optimized automatically.

The automation of site management as well as other tasks in product management is a starting point. Further technology-based optimization should be considered. For instance concerning marketing.
