ANSWER First i study the demographic area, the level of Education, literacy level then study the
government support on education, governments action towards improving the level of education in
that state. then
I conduct a market research to know official suppliers of books,study competitors strategies ,then
directly meet schools and to discuss with head of the school and give overall details about book and
how it helpful students, then i visit class room and show a free demo and to meet faculties to share
about books,motivating faculties this will lead to quick sales the teachers recommend students to
buy it. And i personally meet class leaders or active student in class and to tell collect the names of
friend to buy it. Exhibition and trade fairs also help to market book
Q-2. Unlike other cold calling marketing jobs, KIPS – Territory Manager is an
independent marketing job where one large Territory is assigned comprising of 8-10
districts or sometimes one state. All selected TMs’ are required to handle the
marketing activities of that complete area independently. To accomplish this work, one
has to travel extensively. Are you mentally prepared to take up this CHALLENGE OF

Educational books have a seasonal sale boom in jan_march this period more time is
needed on work. We should develop a sense of mind to work hard this will lead no
problem in overworking. After seasonal sale is closed we should relax and work so a
marketing person is always ready to accept challenges

Before developing the Territory, KIPS Develops the Person First
Most of the candidates accepting this highly competitive marketing career are not
professionally groomed to enjoy the toughness attached to this career. KIPS working
strategy is designed to strengthen the Territory Manager's attitude so that he should
develop a passion for the job he has joined. KIPS vision is to make its Marketing Team

Territory Managers are required to be on probation for one year. After one year of
successful training period, TMs' will be confirmed. During the probation period, TMs'

SALARY & PROMOTIONS At the time of selection, depending upon the candidate's
interview performance & his experience – KIPS initial monthly carry home package
during probation is 1.80 Lac per annum i.e. 15000.00 per month. In addition to this, all
other expenses incurred in travelling, hotel stays, petrol, taxi , mobile are reimbursed
as per the norms. All performing territory managers can also earn during their
probation period a handsome incentive up to 1 lac+ per annum.
