Kingsley Grove Estate Wedding Prospectus

Thank for considering Kingsley Grove Estate as an option for your wedding. We are happy to offer you

a rustic winery/vineyard wedding at our family owned and operated property, established in 1998.

Kingsley Grove Estate take great pride in operating a self‐sustaining winery with the concept of From Berry to Bottle. This means that we grow all the grapes used in winemaking on site and use their modern, fully equipped winery to create a wide range of wines. This allows us to make a range that includes traditional wines and more innovative styles that are designed to suit the Queensland climate. The 25 acre vineyard and winery are located on a 192 acre property that can provide you with an idyllic backdrop of Queensland country for your special day. Beginning with the 500 metre drive through our well established vineyard to the well sculpted dams, lush grass and verdant trees that border the property we can make any corner suitable for you and your partner, family & friends. Our modern winery is nonetheless a rustic setting that can be set up on the day to provide a wonderful relaxed and cosy environment for you and your guests amidst the trappings of our boutique winemaking facility. Kingsley Grove Estate are dedicated to make your wedding day the most cherished, special day for not only the Bride and Groom, but family and friends.


The Ceremony

If you are looking for a country wedding in a winery, then look no further. We provide couples with a

myriad of ceremony options to capture the enchantment of a winery, country wedding which includes

an outdoor ceremony option amongst our beautiful vineyard.

For a ceremony only at Kingsley Grove Estate, the cost is $400 to have exclusive use of the vineyard

for a 3 hour period.

We can seat up to 45 people or accommodate 100+ people (standing capacity) in our vineyard. More

seating can be arranged for a fee.

The beautiful wooden arch can be used and decorated by yourselves or Kingsley Grove can do this for

you included in the cost. Power can be made available depending on location.

The bar in the Cellar Door will be available to your guests after the ceremony. The ceremony is strictly

no BYO.

Unfortunately, at this stage we do not have suitable facilities for the bridal party to prepare prior to

the ceremony, however there are a number of beautiful boutique cottages within a five minute drive

from Kingsley Grove Estate (details can be provided upon request) with which we can assist you in

making contact.


The Wedding Reception

Kingsley Grove Estate provides the perfect backdrop for family and friends to come together to

celebrate your most cherished day at our winery and/or vineyard.

For exclusive use of the winery and/or vineyard for a 5 hour period is $600.

Within the winery, we can seat up to 65 guests comfortably or our standing capacity is 100+ guests.

The winery can be decorated by yourselves, a specialist decorator, or Kingsley Grove. Use of Kingsley

Grove wedding décor is included in the cost. Special decoration requests will incur a fee.

Kingsley Grove has trestle tables, table cloths, cutlery, plates, glasses that can be utilised if required

or if you’d prefer round tables or something different to what we have, this can be arranged for a fee.

Kingsley Grove Estate has a licenced kitchen on the premises to cater for your reception. Catering

starts at $30 per guest. Outside caterers may also use the licenced kitchen. Kingsley Grove will provide

wait staff for the bar and food (if catering).

Kingsley Grove will supply the beverages and can provide several options for beverage packages,

which can include beer, spirits, soft drinks and of course our very own wine.


The Venue

Should you wish to have both your ceremony and your reception at Kingsley Grove Estate, consider

hiring the winery and vineyard for your exclusive use for $1,000 for 9 hours.

Kingsley Grove Estate has many contacts within the wedding industry located in the South Burnett

and would be happy to forward these contacts to you. These include, but not limited to,

accommodation, floral arrangements, wedding decorators, cake providers, jewellers, wedding dress

providers, catering, and photographers.

Kingsley Grove Estate will also offer a dedicated person to liaise with and will be present on the day

to assist your day run smoothly. All outside suppliers must contact your Kingsley Grove Estate liaison

to ensure bump in and out times are mutually agreeable.

Set up and decorating should be done a day or two prior to the ‘big day’, however the cellar door will

be open to the public.


Beverages

As a wine producer, Kingsley Grove Estate would love to supply you and your guests with our

exceptional South Burnett wine. These include red and white wine, sparkling wine, and fortified wines.

We also have the ability to supply your choice of beer and spirit cans.

After your wedding is booked and confirmed, please contact Kingsley Grove Estate to arrange a

mutually agreeable time for you and your groom to discuss your drinks and wedding requirements.

The bar will be run by professional bar staff throughout your special day.

Kingsley Grove can run a cash bar for individual service or a running tab. Cash and Eftpos will be

accepted.

Kingsley Grove also have the facilities to

accommodate a deposit behind the bar to a certain

dollar amount and thereafter run the bar for

individual service.

Please note that BYO is strictly not permitted at our

venue. Please see terms and conditions regarding

bar sales requirements.


Wedding Reception Bar

Should you choose to hold your wedding at another venue, Kingsley Grove Estate also has a portable

bar option for your wedding. We are happy to offer to run a bar at your wedding for $200.

This portable pop‐up bar can be taken to any private property or unlicensed venue.

Professional RSA qualified staff will serve you and your guests at your wedding reception. The bar can

be decorated to match your wedding theme. The blackboard sign can be changed to reflect your

wedding.

If you’d prefer a simple set up without the pallet bar, Kingsley Grove can bring tables and work from

those. Alternatively, if the venue has a dedicated bar in place, we are more than happy to work from

that.

An advantage of using Kingsley

Grove’s mobile bar at your wedding

is that you will not be left with

alcohol after the wedding you may

not be able to return. Kingsley Grove

will offer a variety of beverages to

sustain your guests and will happily

take back any that is unused.

Kingsley Grove Estate are dedicated to make your wedding day the most cherished, special day for not only the Bride and Groom, but family and friends. Kingsley Grove will supply the wine

glasses (if needed) up to 100 pax and

the beer and spirits will be served in

bottles or cans.

If your venue prefers plastic goblets

Kingsley Grove will supply these at

no extra cost.


After your wedding bar option is booked and paid for, please contact Kingsley Grove Estate to arrange

a mutually agreeable time for you and your groom to discuss your bar requirements.

Please note, for Kingsley Grove to provide this service there is a strict no BYO policy .


Personalised Wedding Labels

Kingsley Grove Estate can assist you personalise wine labels if you’d like. These can be your own design

or one of ours. These labels are approximately $1 to $2 per label, depending on the amount.

Terms and Conditions

Our terms and conditions have been set out to ensure all guests enjoy a safe and relaxing time whist

visiting Kingsley Grove Estate. Please read carefully as it contains important information about

weddings and events at Kingsley Grove Estate.

Bookings

1. The chosen venue will be held tentatively for fourteen (14) days, from the date Kingsley Grove

Estate accepts your booking.

2. Confirmation of your booking is required in writing and a signed copy of this ‘Terms and

Conditions’ to Kingsley Grove, and a deposit payment made within fourteen (14) days of making

your booking. If not, the venue will be released and your booking may be cancelled. Exceptions

and extensions may apply at Kingsley Grove’s discretion.

Deposits

There are two options you can choose for payment of your wedding. This must be stated at the time

of booking.

1. Four payments prior to the wedding date:

A non‐refundable deposit of 25% is required within fourteen (14) days of booking. The

deposit is to be paid with the ‘Terms and Conditions’ signed and returned before your

booking is guaranteed.

Six (6) months prior to your wedding date, 50% of your estimated wedding cost is

required to be paid.

Three (3) months prior to your wedding date, 75% of your estimated wedding cost is

required to be paid.

Fourteen (14) days prior to your wedding date, 100% of your wedding cost is required to

be paid.

2. An initial deposit and then full settlement of the balance:

A non‐refundable deposit of 25% is required within fourteen (14) days of booking. The

deposit is to be paid with the ‘Terms and Conditions’ signed and returned before your

booking is guaranteed.

Twenty Eight (28) days prior to your wedding date, the remaining 75% of your wedding

cost is required to be paid.

3. Pop‐Up Bar Only:

Payment in full is required within fourteen (14) days of booking with the ‘Terms and

Conditions’ signed and returned before booking is guaranteed.

All deposits are non‐refundable.


Payment

1. Full payment of your wedding is required at least fourteen (14) days prior to your wedding date.

Services will not be provided without the final payment being received.

2. Any additional charges need to be settled on departure.

3. Credit card details will be held on file for final settlement purposes. You will be notified

regarding any charges processed on your credit card for any breakages, damages or incidentals.

Wedding Details

1. You are required to provide Kingsley Grove Estate in writing all wedding suppliers, starting and

finishing times in connection with your wedding.

2. Guaranteed numbers – final attendance numbers must be notified to Kingsley Grove twenty one

(21) days prior to your wedding. Any reduction in attendance numbers within twenty one (21)

days prior to your wedding will be subject to charging at the full contracted amount.

3. All guests are required to observe the house rules and general behaviour, particularly at night.

Anyone in your party creating nuisance may be asked to leave Kingsley Grove immediately and

will be liable for any damages caused either to other property, guests or the proprietor.

Wedding Cancellation

1. All cancellations are required in writing.

2. Deposits are non‐refundable.

Circumstances beyond the control of the Kingsley Grove Estate

1. If Kingsley Grove is unable to provide the facilities or any other arrangements for your wedding

or any part thereof, or to otherwise perform the terms of this agreement and Kingsley Grove’s

failure is due to circumstances beyond its decision or control, Kingsley Grove is not responsible

for any costs, damages or expenses that you may suffer or incur.

Conduct of the wedding

1. Kingsley Grove Estate will only sell alcohol to people over 18 years.

2. Your wedding must be conducted in an orderly and lawful manner.

3. Kingsley Grove may terminate your wedding if Kingsley Grove reasonably believes that your

wedding is not being conducted in an orderly and lawful manner.

4. Kingsley Grove has no responsibility to you for any costs, damages or expenses that you may

incur in relation to Kingsley Grove’s termination of your wedding.

5. Kingsley Grove may exclude or remove any persons or possessions from your wedding or from

the Kingsley Grove premise. No beverages of any kind, other than those provided by Kingsley

Grove, will be permitted at the wedding venue without the consent of Kingsley Grove.

6. Kingsley Grove practices principles of responsible service of alcohol. Intoxicated persons will not

be served alcohol and may be removed from the premises.


Surcharges

1. A 22% surcharge is applicable to the total beverage account for weddings held on public

Holidays.

External Suppliers

1. External suppliers hold all responsibility for their services.

Items not Collected

1. Any items that have not been collected after the event will be disposed of within seven (7) days.

Kingsley Grove waivers responsibility for:

1. Theft, damage or loss of any goods brought onto the Kingsley Grove premises.

2. Any introduction of food to the wedding by a third party and the effect of thereafter.

Loss and damage to Kingsley Grove property

1. You are responsible for all loss and damage to the property of Kingsley Grove (including any

fixtures, furnishings or goods) caused by or arising from any act or omission by you, your guests

or any other persons attending your wedding or present at Kingsley Grove Estate.

Wet Weather

1. Options for wet weather reception venue change will be the winery. The decision to move the

reception venue in the event of wet weather is the responsibility of the bride and groom based

on advice from Kingsley Grove. The decision must be made no later than 9am on the day before

your wedding.

2. Regarding a Pop‐up bar, a marquee can be set up if required, however the top sign will not be

used.

Price Variations

1. Whist every effort is made to maintain prices as printed or quoted, they may be subject to

increase without notice to cover unforeseen price rises. Please note: each package is increased

on January one (1) each year.
