Applicants Name:…………………………………………… Contact phone no:....……………………………………….. Address:………………………………………………………. Email address:.……………………………………………… Date Booklet given:………………………………………… Introduction The Kingʼs Sunday Production team is made up of a number of creative arts and worship teams. These include: Band

Dance PA/AV

Multimedia Puppets Footsteps Choir

The purpose of this booklet is: • To give you an understanding of the level of commitment

required being a member of The Band. • To help you evaluate your motivations behind you wanting to

be in The Band. • To give me insight into your understanding and experience.

Practical Information • Band practises are Thursdays, weekly, 7.30pm – 9.30pm

at the Kingʼs Factory. • Sunday morning sound check and practise is 10am –

10.30am, unless otherwise arranged by the worship leader or another team leader.

• Generally there is one of each instrument available at the Factory owned by Kingʼs or someone in the team who has loaned it long term. However, you may prefer to use your own this is usually fine (& sometimes encouraged!). It is not insured if you leave it in the Factory though, so you need to take it home after youʼve played.

• Bass players, drummers & electric guitarists are expected to ensure they know how to operate the Line6 pedals/Drum kit ʻbrainʼ! It can be arranged for these to be taken home with a band member in order to do this.

• Certain instruments in the band use an ʻin-earʼ monitor system for foldback. This requires having headphones. Kingʼs gifts the relevant members of the team with their first set of headphones…. Once they break/wear out it is up to the team member to replace them.

What to do next Once you have completed this booklet, give it back to the Band Leader and he/she will take time to read through it. The Band Leader will then arrange to meet with you to work through the booklet, answer any questions and discuss the way forward. You may wish to tear off this back page to keep for information.
