Date of publication- today I will decide when the magazine I have created will be released which should only take one day. Once this has been decided I will move on to the schedule plan.

Managing the schedule- Here I will need to organise what I am doing with the magazine. Having an arranged schedule it will e easier to follow and make the magazine.



Editorial and budgetary decision- From this I decide which types of article ideas or topics, news stories, illustrations and photographs will be used in the magazine. I will also interpret how expensive the magazine is fitting under the target audience and to also identify how much money will be invested in this

Content Acquisition- On this day I will organise what will be put into my magazine. The content can vary to topics used within the issue to the pictures used of the artists within the DPS.

Sub-editing – Here we will check over the whole magazine for grammar, spelling and general corrections in the magazine. This partly crucial and should be done over two days to have two final checks of the full magazine.

Page Layout- from this I will organise the pages in the magazine and where they will be presented by using InDesign. As well as this I will also place in the advertisement within the magazine which will take sometime for the right placement.

Proofreading- now I will print out a hard copy of the magazine to read through and correct any mistakes within it and stop when I am satisfied that there are no visible mistakes

File emailed to printer- after proofreading the magazine is sent to a printer and ‘pre press’ can begin. This is where you are sending all the fonts and images needed for the magazine. Then the mass printing begins where

Distribution- this is the last stage where the copies of the magazine needs to be stored in the warehouse and then distributed and sold to the public
