Encompassing over 400 sq km (155 sq miles), the Angkor Archaeological Park
is home to some of the 200 plus ancient ruins built by the early Khmers
between 900 and 1400 AD. Some of the prominent sites include Angkor Wat,
acclaimed as one of the Wonders of the World, the Bayon within the Angkor
Thom compound and the Ta Phrom. The whole area is a UNESCO World
Heritage site.

Within a safe walking distance from Park Hyatt is the
Old French Quarter. This charming section of the city is
dotted with structures built between the 1950s and the
1960s. Most often refers to as “Phsa Chas” or the “Old

Around 15 km (7 miles) or a 30-minute drive from Park Hyatt is the mouth of

Bird Sanctuary, particularly between December and May. Covering 31,282 hectares,
