Monday: *Learn about how to recycle. Parents, help your child learn about recycling. *Play a Recycling Sorting Game. Use the page that has the recycling bins and garbage can, you can either keep it together or cut it apart. Color and cut apart the picture cards. Then sort the pictures in the “bins”, see if you can recycle the items in the correct bin. You can either glue the pictures on the bins or glue them on a paper with the correct bin.

As a way to celebrate Earth Day, we are asking your student to create a “Recycled Craft’ - using materials you may be throwing away. Turning trash into a robot project. Please assist your child in their creation, but let them do the bulk of the work. This is a good way for them to get creative and think outside the box.

Attached is the ‘Recycle Project Sheet’ that your student will need to fill out - to turn in with their packet.. The questions include, the project created, the items used to make the project and what it does. The Recycled project doesn’t have to be turned in, keep it at your house to enjoy. Just snap a picture and send the picture by message through Class Dojo.

Como una forma de celebrar el Día de la Tierra, le pedimos a su estudiante que cree una "Artesanía Reciclada", utilizando materiales que puede estar tirando. Convertir basura en un proyecto de robot.
