Actividad 1: Lee “El verano es divertido” (página 4). Antes de leer un texto, siempre lee el título y piensa acerca de qué tratará el texto. Este texto probablemente sea acerca de qué cosas son divertidas en el verano.. ¿Qué hechos interesantes aparecen en la selección? ¿Qué crees que el autor quiere que aprendas sobre el verano?  Actividad 2: Dibuja, escribe, o habla acerca de: ¿Qué cosas pasan en el verano? Usa detalles en el texto para contestar la pregunta y dibujar.  Activity 1: Read "Summer is Fun" (see page 4). Before reading a text, always read the title and think about what the text will be about. This text is probably about what things are fun in the summer. What interesting facts appear in the selection? What do you think the author wants you to learn about summer?  Activity 2: Draw, write, or talk about: What things happen in the summer? Use details from the text to answer the question and draw a picture.

Repaso de Sustantivos: Singulares y Plurales, Nombres propios, Nombres comunes ¿Qué son Sustantivos/nombres? Escribe un ejemplo de un Nombre propio y un nombre común.  Escribe un ejemplo de un nombre plural y singular.   Review of Nouns: Singular and Plural, Proper and Common Nouns What are nouns? Write an example of a proper noun and a common noun.  Write an example of a plural and singular noun.  

Repaso Verbos Presente, Pasado, Futuro ¿Qué son verbos? Escribe un ejemplo de un verbo en pasado, presente y futuro. Luego escribe una oración en presente.     Review Verbs Present, Past, Future What are verbs? Write an example of a verb in the past, present, and future. Then write a sentence in the present tense.

Sinónimos/Antónimos ¿Qué es un sinónimo? ¿Qué es un antónimo? Escribe tres ejemplos de palabras que tienen un significado similar. (sinónimo)   Escribe tres ejemplos de antónimos.  Luego puedes hacer unos dibujos para demostrar estas palabras.   Synonyms/Antonyms What is a synonym? What is an antonym? Write three examples of words that have a similar meaning (synonyms).   Write three examples of words that have opposite meanings (antonyms).  Draw a picture for each word. 

Adjetivos ¿Qué es un adjetivo? Crea y dibuja un personaje o escoge uno de tus familiares. Tu como autor describe tu personaje o tu familiar con palabras descriptivas usando adjetivos. Luego colorea tu personaje.   Adjectives What is an adjective? Create and draw a character or choose one of your relatives.  Be an Author: Describe your character or family member with descriptive words (adjectives). Then color your picture.

Actividad 1: Relee las lecturas de esta semana. Explica las diferencias y similaridades de estas lecturas. Crea una tabla (página 6) o un diagrama de Venn que compare y contraste las características y el contenido de ambas selecciones. ¿Qué pasa durante el verano?  Activity 1: Reread this week's texts. Explain the differences and similarities between these texts. Create a Venn Diagram or use the table on page 6 that compares and contrasts the features and content of both selections. What happens during the summer?   

 

Dia 47-49 Libro de EPIC: Pregunta Esencial: ¿Qué pasa durante el verano?  Actividad 1: Lee “Delfines nariz de botella ”(pagina 7). Este texto nos da muchos hechos importantes sobre los delfines. ¿Qué hechos importantes notaste sobre cómo son los delfines? Halla evidencia en el texto para apoyar tu respuesta.  Actividad 2: Dibuja, escribe, o habla acerca de:   

● Su alimentación ● Partes del cuerpo ● Amigos serviciales 

Escoge uno de estos subtemas para hacer tu dibujo y oración.  Usa evidencia de texto para completar tu dibujo y escribir.  Ejemplo: Los delfines ________________.  Actividad 3: Crea un bote de papel. Usa lo que aprendiste de Fuerzas y movimientos.  Puedes usar diferentes materiales, o diferentes papeles, y ver cual es el mejor barco.  Imagina que vas en una expedición en busca de delfines.   Actividad 4: Dibuja un delfín y rotula su nariz, aletas, cola y orificio para respirar. Colorealo    Opcional: Busca información sobre el delfín famoso Winter.  

 

Day 47-49 Epic Book:  Essential Question: What happens during the summer?  Activity 1: Read "Bottlenose Dolphins" (page 7). This text gives us many important facts about dolphins. What important facts did you notice about what dolphins look like? Find evidence in the text to support your response.  Activity 2: Draw, write, or talk about:   

● A dolphin’s diet ● Body parts ● Helpful friends 

Choose one of these topics to draw and write about.  Use text evidence to complete your drawing and writing.  Example: Dolphins ________________.  Activity 3: Create a paper boat. Use what you learned from Forces and Motion.  You can use different materials, or different types of paper, and see which is the best boat.  Imagine you're on an expedition looking for dolphins.   Activity 4: Draw a dolphin and label your nose, fins, tail and breathing hole. Color it.  Optional: Find information about the famous Winter dolphin.

Adverbios ¿Qué es un adverbio? Diviértete con esta tarea, juega con estas palabras con un familiar. Usa cada verbo y adverbio. Actúa esa acción y cómo esa acción está descrita. La otra persona puede decir “congelado” entonces tienes que parar de hacer esa acción y no moverte. Si te mueves pierdes. Sigue con estas palabras pero después crea tus propios verbos y adverbios.    What is an adverb? Have fun with this task! Act out these phrases with a family member. Use every verb and adverb. Act out the action and how that action is described. The other person can say "FREEZE" and then you have to stop doing that action and not move. If you move, you lose. Complete the game with these words and then create your own verbs and adverbs for more fun!
