Time & Room - TBD UNH CANVAS COURSE I will use this to post announcements, lab write-up grades, and exam grades. Also, you will submit your lab reports electronically through VeriCite on Canvas. Also, I post grades using a color-coded format. The color blue is used for all grades that are “C” quality and above; red indicates that you earned below “C”. Also, I use a system that automatically sends an email to you if you do really well on an assignment and if you perform poorly on an assignment. COURSE DESCRIPTION This course is designed to provide students exposure to the scientific process and hypothesis development as it applies to exercise physiology. Included in this is the determination, through laboratory tests, of your functional capacity, body composition, pulmonary function, as well as muscle strength and power. In addition, we will use field tests to estimate some of these parameters. Finally, you will learn to write about the data you collect using the scientific method. COURSE PREREQUISITES KIN 620 – Physiology of Exercise (a grade of “C” or better is required)
