Our MissionKidsQuest Children’s

Museum creates learning through the power of play and exploration that

connects children to their communities and

the world.

The Year in Review

KidsQuest provided a remarkable amount of education and engaged thousands of children and families in learning through play! As business leaders and parents, we are optimistic about the promise playful childhoods hold for our children, our community and their futures.

Now 5 years old and growing vigorously, KidsQuest Children’s Museum plays a fundamental role in our community as an educational resource that honors and promotes a child’s best learning tool - play. With three other Northwest children’s museums we embarked on a collaboration to evaluate our early learning programs and share best practices. Eastside residents honored KidsQuest with 10 awards this year, including Best Place for Kids Activities, Best Nonprofit, and Best Family Friendly Fun.With donor support we added:

Gaming Gallery exhibit• Field Trips to Go bringing KidsQuest to schools• ScoutQuest science programming for scout groups• Summer Science• Explorations in Math workshops•

We expanded programs:Science & technology outreach through King County libraries• Discovery Tots early learning classes• More family programming•

To bring these programs to our patrons:Added an additional Museum educator• Awarded 60 scholarships to meet community need• Increased member benefits through Members-only hours & events•
