Our Tips for Productive Playtimes

Discovery Playtime is a play program with purpose! Children learn through play. Our program is designed to help your preshooler gain confidence and learn to cooperate with others. Through play and group activities children will develop the social, fine motor control and communication skills that help pre-pare them for school.

Our qualified recreational preschool instructors value children and strive to make the program a fun and enjoyable experience. This is an exciting time for your child to experience new friends, discover the wonders of their imagina-tion and gain new independence.

Discovery Playtime welcomes all children. Please let us know if your child may have additional needs as we strive to create an inclusive, safe and beneficial program for all our participants. Your child may be eligible for extra support.

We’ve structured our program with a focus on fun! Our Playtime rooms are set up with many creative activities for children to explore. We incorporate group activities and individual play, as well as structured and unstructured activi-ties that challenge and stimulate little minds and bodies.

Our activities include crafts, painting, books, storytelling, puzzles, interactive games and musical activities. We have developed special areas for building, sand and water play and kitchen modules that let children experience new ac-tivities and explore their imaginations.
