• To provide leadership, support, equity and resources to schools and districts across Iowa in implementing the Iowa Core within the universal tier in content, instruction, and assessment.

• Assessing implementation of the Iowa Core through the review of the Iowa Core elements in the C-Plan,

• supporting districts or schools in acquiring or improving instructional materials to meet the demands of the Iowa Core, and

• supporting schools in implementing instructional practice guides to observe a lesson and provide feedback or to guide lesson planning and reflection.
