Welcome Back!
It has been a pleasure to see our students back at school this year. We welcome our new students to Keysborough Primary School and know they will experience an amazing learning journey here. We also welcome new staff and returning staff to our school this year – Mr Craig Heywood in 6B; Mr Jeremy Stoll in 5B, Mrs Gloria Lai-Harrington in 2B and Mrs Voula Koskolos in 5A. Our Foundation Students.
Our new Prep students have had a seamless entry into primary school. Staff have provided safe and secure learning spaces for our young children to engage in formal learning. Across the week they have settled into their classes happily, ready to learn.
We are looking forward to another year of providing students with explicit learning and teaching environments. Thank you to all staff for their commitment and contributions in making our first couple of weeks highly successful for everyone. I hope you have an amazing weekend. Kind regards Leanne Armao
This weekend Miss Black from Prep C, will become Mrs Dalman. Staff celebrated with this beautiful bride to be, and all wish her and new husband, Jelz, every happiness for their future lives as Mr and Mrs Dalman.

We are pleased to announce that Keysborough Primary is part of the Coles Sport for Schools Promotion. You may have noticed the advertisements on the TV or at the supermarket. We participated in this promotion a couple of years ago. Through our involvement, we were rewarded with several thousand dollars worth of sports equipment, absolutely free. Please support us as we join this program again this year. All you need to do is shop at Coles, and when you are at the checkout, you will be issued with some vouchers along with your receipt. If the cashier doesn’t offer the vouchers, please ask for them. Once you have collected your vouchers, you have two choices. 1. Place the vouchers in the special Keysborough P.S bin outside the Parkmore Coles supermarket. 2. Send them along to school with your child. At school, there will also be a special bin in the office foyer to place the vouchers in. These vouchers will be redeemed for sports equipment from Ross Haywood Sports.

Slip Slop Slap…All students need to be wearing school hats during Term 1.
School Council Elections Why is Parent Membership so important? Parents on school councils provide important viewpoints and have valuable skills that can help shape the direction of the school. Those parents who become active on school councils find their involvement satisfying in itself and may also find that their children feel a greater sense of belonging. I would encourage parents and carers to read the information in the table below or contact the school to discuss the work of the School Council.
