Responsive ClassroomPreliminary Data Collection and Analysis
● There have been a total of 412 discipline incidents recorded in our Student information system for Keyport Central School.
● Only 11 total incidents involved students regularly engaging in Responsive Classroom practices in school. Those incidents involved only 5 individual students.
● In addition there has been only 1 founded HIB case involving a student that engages in Responsive Classroom practices at KCS.
● This data does NOT indicate causation, however, it is a notable correlation that will continue to be monitored and explored.
● More qualitative and quantitative data will be collected and analyzed.
