Trouble shooting tips: You will usually have to turn off the Windows XP firewall on the “Server” computer to communicate with the clients. To check the status of the Server launch the LMTools.exe program, click on the Server Status tab and click Perform Server Enquiry. You can also view the Log we created on the Config Services tab. It is occasionally necessary to “reboot” the virtual server via LMTools.exe. To do this go to the Start/Stop/ReRead tab. Check off “Force Server Shutdown” then click “Stop Server”. Then Click “Start Server” and watch the status line at the bottom of the box to see if the start is successful. Then click the “ReRead License File” button. Try to start up a client after this is complete.
