It’s a fact...

The flagship widening participation initiative raises educational aspirations and builds confidence in young people and their families who live in areas where university is not usually considered. It has a membership of  7300 children and 2400 parents. The London Club is based at GCU London and a New York club will be established.

The first initiative of its type to be opened at a Scottish university, the Advanced Higher Hub is attended by just over 100 pupils from 19 secondary schools across Glasgow. Subjects being studied are English, Maths, History, Modern Studies, Chemistry, Biology and Business Management.

GCU offers a wide range of scholarships supported by industry and business leaders including Warner Bros., Santander, Marks & Spencer, Shed Media and Kar Construction. The Principal’s Scholarship covers tuition fees up to £21,000 for RUK students from low income backgrounds who are first in their family to attend university.
