“Space Tigers” is a Berlin based band gathered around Greg’s and Vanja’s compositions. „Real Sofa Techno
Jazz Surfers“ keep their spirit ahead with their own brand. Call it Jazz, Techno, Punk or Funk for them it
doesn’t matter. Be aware – It’s not just a band, it’s a movement, it’s an invasion.
Debut album released for Swiss record label Unit Records.

GRGUR SAVIC, born in Zagreb/Croatia. He finished music and academic studies – classical and jazz
at the University of performing arts in Graz and Klagenfurt. In New York he took private lessons with
revered jazz greats such as Andrew D’Angelo and George Garzone. Past musical projects include
Mangroove, an experimental fusion, Free Willys, conceptual free music trio, Tub Force – post bop/fu-
sion. Grgur’s music is available through the CD-s he has recorded, Youtube and other.
Now based in Berlin he actively records and performs with his main projects: SPACE TIGERS and
CROMATIK 5. Grgur has performed with the following artists such as Krunoslav Levacic, Vanja
Kevresan, Greg Smith, Jesus Vega, Bojan Krhlanko, Hrvoje Galler, Pavle Jovanovic, Jost Drasler, Vitja
Balzalorsky, Domen Gnezda, Gregor Zver, Kolja Gjoni, Tihomir Hojsak, Zvonimir Sestak, Andjelko
Stupar, Petar Bazdanovic, Borko Rupena, Igor Lumpert, Jonathon Haffner, Marko Churntchetz, Jure
Pukl, Carol Cass...etc. In between recording and playing shows, Grgur is selfstudying on making short
documentaries and movies which are involved in major of his music videos.
VANJA KEVRESAN, born in Esslingen/Germany, originally from Zrenjanin/Serbia. He studied at the
University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz/Austria where he graduated with honours (2002). He
is leading his own projects: Vanja K3, Kevstunik, Freeriders, Filf's & Teens, Afterparticians feat David
Binney, Unleashed Bop Force.
He lives in Berlin, Germany and teaches Jazz-guitar and Jazz-improvi- sation at the Faculty of Music
Arts in Belgrade since 2011. Vanja performed with: David Binney, Karl Ratzer, Peter Herbolzheimer,
Dean Bowman, Miles Griffith, Dusko Gojkovic, Uwe Plath, Joe Sanders, Gerald Clayton, Tom Lellis, Ed
Neumeister, Wayne Darling, Jaleel Shaw, Tom Craine, Igor Lumpert, Jure Pukl, Mark Murphie, Sheila
Jordan, Margitte Juenemann, Jonathan Blake, Eric Harland, Fritz Pauer, Bernd Lueff Jazz Forum

JESUS VEGA, is an American Drummer/Educator/Composer currently residing in
Berlin, Germany. Born in King City, California, he was first introduced to Jazz by the
Monterey Jazz Festival's Education Program. He holds a Bachelor's and Master's
Degree in Music from Sacramento State University and University of Nevada, Reno.
In his short career Mr. Vega has had the privilege to study/perform with: Peter
Epstein, David Ake, Vince Lateano, Joe Lovano, Ben Wendle, Ingrid Jensen, Kenny
Washington, Greg Hutchinson, Geoffrey Keezer and many more.

drums lineup, but their regular trumpeter was replaced at late
notice by a second altoist, thereby creating a grouping that re-
called the Spy vs. Spy combination of Tim Berne and John Zorn, or
the twinned altoists of the English band Led Bib. Space Tigers
locked into a metallic cross-hatching of rock-funk patterns, main-
taining this hard intensity throughout their set, either with
jointly entwining altos or with solo horn stretches, attaining a
pinnacle of piercing precision.“
