Work Experience The Acme Facilities Group (June 2014 – Present) Marketing Coordinator My role as Marketing Coordinator gives me full control over all aspects of marketing. Social media, online and digital marketing including google analytics, PPC and database management in order to manage customer relationships across all channels. Creating and running the company social media pages such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, and You Tube. Using Hootsuite in order to manage posts, TweetReach to measure the effectiveness of social media campaigns and Google Analytics in order to assess traffic growth. Marketing Planning, creating and implementing a marketing plan for the 2014/2015 financial year. Finding new and innovative ways to market the company within the commercial refrigeration, catering and HVAC industries. I was a digital marketing intern at Preston Print in charge of social media marketing, database management and driving new traffic to the company website and social media pages.I developed a social media plan, analysing the current state of the print market and established ways the company could improve upon their current digital marketing efforts.

Henry Alty’s (May 2013- August 2013)Marketing Assistant My main role in this position was to redesign the company website, analysing the needs of the customer and their perception of what their website should contain. I also assisted the company in setting up social media pages, showing them how to use these and creating a report analysing the pros and cons of social media and how it can help the company reach their desired target audience.

Thermonet Ltd (April 2013 – June 2013)Marketing ExecutiveThermonet are a small company with three employees, as a result of this they had no existing marketing.

Throughout my time at Thermonet I created a wide range of company literature, developed an online presence for the company, researched potential new markets, assisted in presenting the company to potential new clients and created a marketing plan for the company highlighting the importance of marketing, how marketing can assist in sales and displaying research on how the company can target their audiences.

Blackburn College (July 2009 – September 2009)Marketing InternI assisted the senior brand manager and webmaster in designing a new staff intranet, following brand guidelines and conducting market research. I also assisted in developing and creating a new marketing microsite that is accessed internally. I liaised with external partners and agencies in order to oversee the development of the site.

Voluntary Positions

UCLAN Lancashire Business School President (September 2012 – July 2013)I was elected as School President by my peers as a result of a two week campaign; upon being elected my main roles was to represent students of the entire Business School.

This included; Research, analysis and presentation of a diverse group of students, balancing competing demands in my own time in an effective manner, developing advocacy and communication skills representing students at university committee meetings with senior academic staff and volunteering my time to enhance the student learning experience.

Student Council Committee Member (September 2012 – July 2013)I was elected as a member of the UCLAN Students Council, this involved being proactive and voicing student’s opinions and views on behalf of the entire student body.
