  • I'm a Post Graduate student currently studying International Commercial Law; Ive previously studied at Kent for my Undergraduate degree and I am the current chairman of the university football club. My recent experience regarding my committee position has given me a fantastic insight to the framework of how sport is conducted here and has given me great ideas of how to improve the university sporting program. I have the drive, ambition and tenacity to heighten the significance and involvement of sport and I believe I am more than capable of achieving my policies for the greater good of the sporting students here at Kent.

Increase off peak membership gym hours to allow flexible participation for busy, commuting or part time students

Lobby for a reduction of gym membership when purchased with sports club membership

Continue to put in place the sport kit tender to give unity and recognition to the sports clubs of the university as well as create an opportunity to purchase kit and equipment at a cheaper price

Ensure the proposed facility developments are put in place

Give additional funding to new or newly developed sports clubs to help increase membership and participation

Build links with the community to help ease the supply and demand issue the university faces following recent accommodation development

Lobby for additional ground staff to help prepare additional pitches and accommodate the growth in sports club membership

Actively look for sourced funding for sports clubs left without pitch playing space

Increase the sports coverage in the university press, online and in college foyers

Increase the size of varsity to increase participation, recognition and support as well as include college teams within the mandate of the colours ball

    Improve aged or damaged facilities.
