It’s Easier Than Ever To Get In The GameTennis is fun and accessible to kids and families everywhere.• Your child will enjoy playing with balls that bounce lower and move slower

through the air, making them easier to hit.• Racquets are sized for small hands, making them easier to grip and swing.• Courts are smaller, so kids can cover them and have more success when

they play.• Kids have more fun — and want to play more often.• Tennis is a sport that gets kids moving, improves balance, agility and hand-

eye coordination, and can teach self-confidence and self-assurance.• Your whole family can play together.By getting your kids into the game you’ll be opening a door to alifetime of enjoyment!

Healthier, More Active KidsTennis is one of the best ways for kids to become healthy and physically fit. Thevery nature of the game of serving, returning and rallying makes tennis anactive sport with plenty of movement, starts, stops and direction changes. Assuch, tennis is a great cardiovascular activity, and the movements used on thecourt help develop enhanced balance, agility and coordination. Mental focus isalso sharpened through tennis because decision-making and concentration arenecessary every time a ball is hit.

Have a 5-year-old and soon-to-be Kindergartener? Can’t decidebetween Kinder Kamp and Summer Camp for school age kids?Reflect on the following questions to help determine your child’scamp-readiness:• Has your child successfully attended a full day program in the past?• Is your child comfortable traveling in large groups and willing to take

direction from multiple adults?• Can your child swim comfortably in the shallow end with little to no

assistance?

If you answered “yes” to all 3 questions, your child is ready forschool age summer camps. If you are hesitant about any of thequestions, maybe Kinder Kamp will be a better fit for your childthis year. If you’d like to talk with someone about this decision, please call Heather McGonegle (school age) at the Ranch House, 303-979-4070, ext. 132 or [email protected], or Sarah Gagne (preschool & pre-k) at the Community Center,303-979-2233, ext. 206 or [email protected].
