1. 0:00 – 0:30–ECUof eyes, zoom out

into anaerial shot to show him

waking up in a bed on his own.Cut

toMCU following him into the

kitchen, OSS (her cup being the

subject). MCU of his head in his

hands.

(Lyrics don’t kick in until 20

seconds, starting the video at

15) Wakes up looking at the

ceiling, turns over and looks at

pictures of him and his ex-

girlfriend scattered across the

bed with empty beer cans. Next

scene following him into the

kitchen, he opens the cupboard

and looks at her cup then puts

his head in his arms.

I wanna be drunk when I wake up

On the right side of the wrong

bed

And every excuse I made up

2. 0:30 – 1:00 – MCU of his hands in

his head carrying on from the last

30 seconds. ECU of the cup being

smashed on the floor. MCU while he

cleans it up. Cut to MS as he wraps

himself up in a duvet and eats the

pizza watching TV. Panning from

left to right from the man sat down

to the TV.

Carries on from his head in his

hands, lifts up and smashes the

cup, then cleans it up. Sits

watching tv eating left over

pizza whilst wrapped up in a

duvet.

I'm sat here wishing I was

sober

cut the heating

3. 1:00 – 1:30 – WS of him walking to

the fridge and taking out the

beers, putting them on the table.

ECU of drinking some. Cut to VWS of

him and his girlfriend walking into

town.

Goes into his fridge and gets a

lot of beer out, starts to drink

it through the day. Flash backs

to when him and his girlfriend

were together and happy out and

about shopping.

The flash backs black and white.

Maybe I'll get drunk again

4. 1:30 – 2:00 –Carrying on straight

from last scene, Cut to Cut – In of

their feet walking into a shop.

While in the shop POV of the man

while she looks at clothes.

Carrying on from the last scene,

and then following them around

in town shopping.

Keep it between friends

There maybe other people like

You see the flicker of the

clipper when they light up

Flames just create us, burns

The flashbacks then stop and he

is still drinking the beers sat

on the couch still thinking

about her, crying.

The flash backs black and white.

5. 2:00 – 2:30–Cut to MS him still sat

on the couch drinking beer. ECU of

him drinking the cans again, and of

his eyes slowly closing as he’s

crying.Cut to ECU of him and her

cuddling watching TV.

On cold days Coldplay's out like

the band's the name

her cuddling watching TV. MS of him

drinking more and more.

Carrying on again from him

thinking about them. He has a

few more drinks still crying.

The flash backs black and white.
