    NOTIFICATION

    CENTRALISED ALLOTMENT TO PROFESSIONAL DEGREE COURSES 2011[G.O.(Ms)No.115/2011/H.Edn. dated 03.08.2011]

    The activities related to the second phase of allotment to Professional Degree

    Courses for the year 2011-12 will commence on 05.08.2011 (Friday). This will be

    the second allotment to Government Medical Colleges in the State and first

    allotment to other courses.

    Candidates included under various rank lists can register their options on the

    website www.cee.kerala.gov.in from 05.08.2011 till 5 pm on 12.08.2011.

    Candidates who do not register their options will not be considered for allotment

    under any circumstances. The Option Facilitation Centres [OFC] and Help Desks

    [HD], having internet facility, will be functioning throughout the State during this

    period for registration of options by the candidates. The details of such centers are

    available on the website, www.cee-kerala.org.

    The schedule for the second phase of allotment is given below:

    Those candidates who have registered options for MBBS course in Government

    Medical Colleges of the State during the first phase of allotment can re-arrangetheir existing options and register new options for the colleges/courses included inthe second phase of allotment.

    Those candidates desiring allotment/admission to Private Self-financingEngineering Colleges can seek only up to 3 allotments. Students who are allotted toPrivate Self-financing Engineering colleges during the final allotment to theseinstitutions will not be eligible for any other higher options. The candidates who getallotment in the Private Self-financing Engineering Colleges in the final allotment tothese colleges shall join the college. Candidates who get allotment to these PrivateSelf-financing Engineering Colleges in the final allotment to these institutions, who

    do not remit fee, and those who remit fees and eventually do not take admissionwill be penalized as per clause 12.2.4 (c) of the Prospectus. Hence candidates shallfile options only to those institutions/courses where they are sure to take admissionin the event of allotment.

    The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations will be receiving options for allotmentto the various Professional courses in the following Colleges in this Phase:

    Note:- The allotment to BAMS/BSMS courses in Government/Aided/Private Self-

    financing Ayurveda/Siddha Colleges will be done only on receipt of permission to

    these courses from the Central Council for Indigenous Medicine (CCIM).

    Mandatory Reservation : Leaving the seats set apart for All India Quota,

    Government of India Nominees, Special reservation, Persons with Disabilities and

    Management, the remaining Government seats for each course in Govt./Aided

    Colleges will be distributed as per the mandatory reservation principle as

    contemplated in G.O. (P) 208/66/Edn. Dated 2.5.1966, G.O. (Ms) No. 95/08/SCSTDD

    Dated 06.10.2008 and as modified from time to time.

    The percentage break-up of seats as per mandatory reservation is as follows:

    The existing reservation policy in Government, Government Aided Collegeswill continue. The seat reservation policy and fee structure applicable to other Self-financing institutions will be as follows:

    * Note:(1) In the case of the Private Self-financing Engineering Colleges with

    Community/Registered Trust/Registered Society quota, out of the 50%Government seats, 15% will be allotted to eligible candidates belonging to theCommunity/Registered Trust/Registered Society, on the basis of merit. Ifenough number of candidates are not available to this quota the balance seats

    will be reverted back to State Merit quota. In such institutions, the remainingGovernment seats will be allotted by the CEE as per the reservation patternapplicable in Govt./Govt.-Aided Colleges. Separate notification for furnishingcertificates for availing Community/Registered Trust/Registered Society quotawill be issued in due course.

    (2) In the case of Self-financing Engineering Colleges under Government controland in Self-financing Engineering Colleges under Kerala, Mahatma Gandhi andCalicut Universities, 35% of the seats under Management quota also will beallotted by the CEE. The CEE will allot only 25% of the seats under Managementquota, in the case of SCT College of Engineering, Pappanamcode,Thiruvananthapuram. Allotment to these seats will be strictly on the basis ofmerit.

    There will be fee concession in those Private Self-financing EngineeringColleges who have entered into seat sharing agreement with Government as givenbelow.

    Half the number of candidates allotted by the Commissioner for EntranceExaminations in each course, with low annual family income will be eligible tostudy for a tuition fee of ` 35,000. The rank/category will not be a criteria forselection of these candidates. Those candidates who are eligible for fee concessionsuch as SC/ST/OEC/other fee concession/AICTE Tuition Fee Waiver will not beconsidered for this fee concession.

    The selection of candidates for this fee concession will be made only afterthe closure of allotment/admission in these colleges. Hence all candidates whoreceive allotment in these institutions will have to remit an amount of` 60,000 astuition fee initially. The excess amount remitted will be refunded to them onreceipt of fee concession.

    Note:- The tuition fees for all Government seats in Sarabai Institute of Science &Technology, Vellanad, Thiruvananthapuram will only be ` 35,000.DENTAL (BDS)
